Golden Globes 2024: At the super-luxe Flockhill Lodge, a $15,000-per-night farm stay included in the $800,000 goodie bag

Three lucky Golden Globe-winning A-listers will receive the gift of an exclusive stay at an ultra-luxurious resort in New Zealand.

Some of the prestigious award winners' goodie bags, worth $800,000, each include an all-inclusive three-night stay at the breathtaking Flockhill Lodge.

The lavish $15,000-per-night retreat is located near the small town of Arthur's Pass on breathtaking Lake Pearson on New Zealand's South Island, 100km west of Christchurch.

Each extravagant gift bag varies in content; only three of them include an offer to stay in one of Flockhill Lodge's newly renovated villas due for completion in December 2024.

They will also be invited to dine at the five-star farm's highly anticipated new Sugarloaf restaurant, which will open with the new villas.

Each extravagant gift bag varies in content; only three of them include an offer for a stay in one of Flockhill Lodge's newly renovated villas which will be ready in December 2024.

Nestled amongst a breathtaking snow-capped mountain range, Flockhill is a resort and sheep station spread over 14,500 hectares of land with a series of lavish huts dotted around the grounds.

A villa costs anywhere from $9,200 to $22,425 per night and each villa has a cozy barn-style design and spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

The $14.6 million Flockhill is no stranger to celebrities having hosted many A-lister guests since it opened in 2022.

Flockhill Lodge manager Andrew Cullen described the property as 'refined wilderness'.

'If you go here you go into the highlands of Canterbury. It is majestic in terms of scenery and views, but (the weather) can be disappointing,” he said Flyer.

“We've had times where we've gone out in December, and it's summer and it's 70 degrees, and suddenly the weather and the wind changes. It certainly gives you the perspective of highland farming.”

Currently there are two beautiful farmhouses to provide relaxation from the unpredictable weather, where guests have access to a range of lavish facilities including a wine cellar, farmhouse kitchen and a swimming pool and spa.

There are also services such as private chefs and activities ranging from bouldering to heli tours.

Chefs are on hand all day to prepare gourmet breakfasts, four-course dinners or snacks and canapes.

Inside, the farmhouses exude refined luxury with high vaulted ceilings, palatial bedrooms with king-size beds, a home theater, plush furnishings, soaking tubs and a warming wood fire.

Outside, guests can enjoy the sunken private fire pit, pool and spa, all with uninterrupted valley views.
