Kylian Mbappe will reportedly live in a £15million mega mansion in Madrid after completing his move to the Spanish giants on a five-year contract.

Real Madrid confirmed the arrival of the French superstar on Monday after he announced last month that he would be leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

It ends Real’s seven-year pursuit of Mbappe and further strengthens Carlo Ancelotti’s side after their Champions League triumph on Saturday.

The Frenchman – who has scored 256 goals in 308 appearances for PSG – is expected to make a seamless appearance on the pitch, but a report in Spain last month also claimed that Mbappe had already found a place to stay off the pitch.

La Razon reported on May 21 that Mbappe would move to a luxury property worth £15 million in Madrid’s exclusive La Moraleja suburb.

A report in ESPN even claimed that the house Mbappe bought was owned by former Real star Gareth Bale.

One of the Spanish capital’s most exclusive areas, La Moraleja is also where David and Victoria Beckham spent most of their time when the former played for the Spanish giants.

The report in La Razon further explains how Mbappe’s neighbors include Sergio Ramos and his wife Pilar Rubio, along with actor Richard Gere and his partner Alejandra Silva.

Mbappé played with Ramos at PSG for two seasons and together with Gere the trio will form a ‘golden triangle’.

Ramos – who owns two properties in La Moraleja – has the house opposite Mbappe’s new home, while Gere’s is next to the 25-year-old.

The report adds how Mbappe was considering a move to La Finca, another luxury estate where property owners include Jude Bellingham and Cristiano Ronaldo.

But because La Moraleja is close to Real’s training ground, which is a five-minute drive away, Mbappe felt more comfortable there.

This is despite La Finca reportedly being safer and more private for residents.

La Moraleja has long been one of the favorite residences of star footballers and other big names in Spain.

Those who have lived there include Beckham, Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, actress Ana Obregon and singer Isabel Pantoja.

It was previously a private estate of a widowed marchioness until the mid-20th century, before the construction of the first family homes.

On the main domain, the houses are fenced and private, while there is 24/7 security.

David and Victoria Beckham bought a mansion on the same estate as Mbappe in 2005, when the former England captain was playing for Real Madrid.

One author previously described it as: ‘A wealthy enclave of the rich and famous, including politicians, actors and top businessmen’, with house prices that ‘range from the merely extortionate to the downright laughable’.

La Moraleja is also said to be home to some of Spain’s most elite private schools and sports clubs.
