Inside Kyle Sandilands’ wedding guest list: Who’s Who of politics and media to attend nuptials

Every major player in Australian media and politics will attend Kyle Sandilands’ wedding to Tegan Kynaston on Saturday – including the Prime Minister.

The exclusive guest list, shared with Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, includes Today host Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine; Kings Cross nightclub identity John Ibrahim and his model girlfriend Sarah Budge; and Guy and Jules Sebastian.

The PM Anthony Albanian stands on dj at the reception along with his partner Jodie Haydon like a plusand NSW Labor Premier Chris Minns will also be in attendance with his wife Anna.

Other guests include the colorful former paparazzo-turned-Geelong mayor Darryn Lyons; boxer Jeff Fenech and his wife Suzee; Beau and Kara Ryan; and, of course, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, longtime Sandilands radio host, who brings along her 12-year-old daughter Kitty.

Musical guests include Sebastian, Samantha Jade and Conrad Sewell.

The total cost of the ceremony is rumored to be more than $1 million, and the couple locked up Swifts’ stunning landmark home for the occasion.

The Late Victorian Gothic Revival Mansion, at Darling Point, hhosting a number of prestigious events for Sydney’s elite over the years.

Sydney socialite Nadia Fairfax married financier Michael Wayne there in 2021.

Owned by Shane and Penelope Moran of the Moran Health Care Group family, the $60 million home was built between 1876 and 1883 and features 56 rooms, beautiful grounds, and harbor views.

Originally built by beer baron Sir Robert Lucas Lucas-Tooth in 1882, it was owned by the Roman Catholic Church, who ‘whitewashed’ the building’s façade.

Earlier this week, on his radio show Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM, Kyle revealed the exorbitant amount of money he has spent on his upcoming wedding to his fiancé Tegan.

It is estimated that he spent nearly $1 million on the wedding, which is his second after his split from ex-wife Tamara Jaber in 2010.

On Monday’s Kyle And Jackie O Show, the radio titan and his co-host Jackie “O” Henderson challenged listeners to guess the cost of specific elements of Kyle’s wedding in a game called “Higher or Lower.”

‘Do you know where I made the mistake? When I first met the wedding planner and wedding stylist… they said, “Okay, what budget are we on?” and I said, ‘There’s no budget,'” Sandilands said at the beginning of the segment.

One of the most expensive features was the floral arrangements, which cost a whopping $150,000.

Henderson, who spent just $80,000 on her wedding to ex-husband Lee, was stunned by the price tag and asked Sandilands, “150,000 for something that dies a few days later?”

“Well, everybody can take home flowers and stuff,” Sandilands shrugged.

Tegan’s wedding dress costs less than $50,000, while the bridal party and pageboy suits cost more than $15,000.

The entertainment, which included renting multiple stages, audio equipment, and sound trucks, meanwhile cost more than $100,000.

Sandilands also hired several instrumentalists, saying, “There are saxophone guys, there are string quartets. It’s something big.’

Sandilands clarified that he actually saved money on the artist fees, as his pop star friends Guy Sebastian, Conrad Sewell and Samantha Jade had agreed to perform for free.

The wedding stylist’s fee was less than $250,000, while the food — which included an oyster bar and caviar — cost less than $75,000.

Sandilands revealed he spent less than $120,000 on security details, including 15 private security guards and members of the NSW and federal police.

The combined cost of the videographer and photographer was less than $80,000, while the wedding invitations cost less than $15,000.

Sandilands also said his wedding cake, which he described as a “five-tiered monster,” cost more than $8K.

A live organist also set the couple back $3,000.

However, there was one detail that Sandilands managed to get for free: the couple’s wedding rings.

Sandilands confirmed that famed jeweler House of K’Dor donated the rings for free as a thank you for being a long time customer.

Kyle popped the question to his partner Tegan in January last year while on holiday in Port Douglas.

The couple welcomed son Otto in August last year.

Tegan is director of communications for Kyle’s company King Kyle Pty Ltd.

The pair made their romance public on New Year’s Eve in 2019, when Tegan shared a photo of herself kissing Kyle in front of the Sydney Harbor Bridge.

Two months earlier, she had denied rumors that she was in a relationship with the KIIS FM presenter.

Kyle started dating his then-personal assistant Tegan after his breakup with his long-term girlfriend Imogen Anthony.

The radio titan announced his shock split from his girlfriend of eight years on The Kyle and Jackie O Show in November 2019.

He told listeners that the couple “hadn’t lived together in months” and that their relationship was just “running its course.”

“We haven’t been together for a few months now. Unfortunately, it has run its course,” he said.
