Kim’s weight loss journey began by fitting into Marilyn Monroe’s historic gown for the Met Gala.
Amazingly, Kim managed to drop 16 pounds in just three weeks to slip into the dress Monroe wore while serenading President Kennedy in 1962.
To do so, Kim revealed that she wore a sauna suit twice a day, ran on the treadmill, cut all sugar and carbs from her diet, and ate ‘clean’ vegetables and protein.
Unsurprisingly, the Hulu star received a fair amount of criticism for the diet, with many calling it “unhealthy” including actress Lily Reinhart, who said Kim’s “ignorance is otherworldly and disgusting.” .

However, the star’s personal trainer, Don ‘DB’ Brooks, hit back at the trolls, explaining that it ‘wasn’t like starving yourself’, noting that she ‘pushed herself’.
“So, I mean I was there during the process, so it wasn’t like starving yourself.” I mean, he ate a really balanced diet and sometimes, you know, he didn’t eat as much. But then the second thing was she was in the gym and she got to work.

The rapid weight loss spawned wild theories that Kim had actually had weight loss surgery.

Kim has only attributed the weight loss to traditional good diet and exercise, albeit extreme.
In addition to working out, Kim also credited a laser procedure for helping to ‘tighten’ her stomach.

Kim previously bragged about her shapeshifting powers on the new Hulu series The Kardashians, where she recounted that she could adapt to just about anything as she prepared to try on a replica of Marilyn’s dress.
‘The width of my shoulders and my body makes me like a shapeshifter. I can get into anything. But no one trusted us for years, they never sent samples.
And then once I got to Paris and tried on the swatches, they’d be like, “Oh wait, she really fits our stuff.” So I don’t know how to convince the guy who owns Marilyn’s original dress that I’m a shapeshifter.
