Jude Bellingham has completed his first day of training for Real Madrid following his £113 million transfer in June.
The 20-year-old was signed for a record fee for a British player, securing a six-year contract with the club, and will follow in the footsteps of fellow Britons Gareth Bale and David Beckham – who also played for the LaLiga giants .
It was reported last week that Bellingham had received a good luck message from Beckham before his first day at work and had also been house hunting in the Spanish capital prior to the move.
Today he was photographed during his first training session for the 14-time European champion, as several of the club’s players arrived at the Ana de Austria building at Madrid’s Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital to complete fitness tests.
The club too confirmed in a statement that the team would have their first pre-season practice later this afternoon.

The Italian had previously made the midfielder a top priority in the transfer window.
He now has plenty of quality options to choose from in the middle of the park, with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos both signing contract extensions to stay at the club.
In a video posted to Twitter, Bellingham was also seen walking on a treadmill, hooked up to all sorts of medical devices, and also riding a stationary bike.
The Birmingham City Academy graduate, who went on to score 24 goals in 132 appearances with Borussia Dortmund, could also take a senior position for the Galacticos, with rumors Ancelotti could opt to switch to a 4-3-2- 1 system.
The England star, who was crucial to Gareth Southgate’s side at the 2022 World Cup, played in all but three of Dortmund’s Bundesliga games last season.
Bellingham was also seen preparing for the season with the side following his medical tests

His side painfully missed out on the German title last season on a dramatic final day that saw rivals Bayern Munich snatch the league title right from their noses.
Bellingham has been enjoying his summer vacation ever since, notably spending time with his brother Jobe exploring the South of France.
But it was an exciting month for the family as after Jude revealed his move to Madrid, Jobe was also announced as Sunderland’s latest signing.
