A luxurious bunker for the ultra-rich is being built as the ideal hideout for wealthy billionaires looking for a doomsday refuge – and will come complete with a ring of fire, an escape tunnel and even water cannons to protect against invaders.
In an effort to provide the most exclusive form of protection amid rising reports of conflict, climate change, possible nuclear attacks and mass shootings, billionaires are getting the chance to invest in a spot in the extravagant bunker.
While traditional preppers prepare for the worst by stocking up on food and creating escape routes, the very wealthy have been given a much more luxurious alternative in space, which will be equipped with high-tech medical and decontamination rooms and secret security doors.
With construction underway, the house will also feature electric fencing, as well as powerful water cannons that shoot from 500 feet away to keep anyone off the property.

The unique bunker aims to protect assets and everyone inside from the outside world. The construction company, which has not yet announced the price for the space, claims the shelter can withstand an explosion “a mile from ground zero.”
To access the house there is a swing bridge that covers the 9 meter deep moat that surrounds the property, and which on non-attack days can be used for jet skis and paddle boards.
Inside the fortress is a tunnel, armed with flamethrowers and gassing systems, leading to a steel-enclosed entrance gate.
There’s also a steel escape tunnel, a lavish lounge and decontamination booths to keep people safe and happy.
The off-site water cannons can shoot down parachutes, helicopters and more.
The SAFE company, also known as Strategically Armored and Fortified Environments, specializes in creating custom and secure designs for people with a healthy bank balance.
Although the project is still under construction and more than 80 percent complete, there is still a lot of work to be done – and it has cost millions so far.
Al Corbi, president and founder of Virginia-based SAFE, said The Hollywood Reporter that the company focused on the mega-rich.

“A lot of these guys buy King Air or older airplanes that don’t have the avionics, and keep one or two older pre-1986 cars in their collection so they will still function in an EMP (electromagnetic pulse),” Al said .
‘The new thing is that there is a shift from the idea of nuclear ka-boom to protection against local threats.
“The real threat is the power grid, which ironically is the plot of Leave The World Behind. In situations like this, sustaining your life is just as important as food and water.”
He noted that the bunker had cost millions of dollars and was not yet finished.
Al revealed that he planned to build even more evacuation routes.
‘All types of extraction equipment and systems, but I can’t really talk about that; let’s say all superyachts have helicopters and submarines on them,” he told the newspaper.

The car then drives to the gate, passing cameras, high-intensity flashes and retractable bollards along the way.
There is a communication system to get in and there is a high voltage electrical fence on top of the fort.
