Inside Holly Willoughby’s relaxing summer after This Morning turmoil – from jetting off to Italy and sunbathing in a bikini to indulging in frozen cocktails and enjoying family time

Holly Willoughby has given her fans a glimpse into her summer with a slew of photos on her website Wylde Moon.

But she seemed to be doing her best to put the drama behind her and relax during her summer holidays after presenting the daytime show.

Holly shared several photos of herself soaking up the sun in a bikini, shielding her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses.

In one she held up a huge bowl of a delicious-looking homemade salad, while in the other she sipped a frozen Aperol Spritz.

She also shared some photos of her dreamy Italian anniversary getaway with her husband Dan Baldwin.

In one fell swoop, Holly sipped an Aperol Spritz as she looked out at Florence’s Italian buildings and views of the iconic Doumo Cathedral.

She donned a stylish yellow and green floral dress and wore a straw beach hat with black sunglasses.

Holly also shared a cheeky photo of herself looking up at Michelangelo’s naked David statue in Florence’s Accademia gallery.

The couple had flown to Tuscany to attend Blur’s 35th anniversary reunion tour to mark their 16th wedding anniversary.

Holly said: ‘That part of Italy has always held a special place for us because Dan’s mother, Sandra, was from there.’

They then traveled to Florence, where she said: ‘I know everyone says the same thing, but we were completely blown away by everything we saw.

‘Michelangelo’s ‘Statue of David’ radiates an energy that I have never experienced before.’

The slew of photos comes after Phillip mysteriously deleted a number of photos of the couple from his Instagram account, including those of the former friends hosting This Morning and even holidaying together in Portugal.

Now his two million followers can see just one photo, taken remotely in the This Morning studio.

But Phillip, 61, who has resigned from ITV, still has pictures of himself with fellow former co-stars Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson.

A television insider said: ‘Holly and Phil always posted pictures together for fun, they were a big part of each other’s lives and they loved showing their viewers how close they are.

‘The fact that Phil appears to have deleted them from his page says a lot about how he feels about Holly. It looks like he’s definitely moved on and is trying to leave Holly behind.’

It comes almost a fortnight after he unfollowed Holly following the scandal, which saw him kicked out of the daytime program he hosted with her for 14 years.

Phillip’s daughters Molly, 30, and Ruby, 28, showed their support for their father by doing the same.

Holly has not deleted several photos with Phillip from her Instagram account and still follows him.
