But the couple announced the news of their split during an interview on Good Morning America this morning, when they opened up about the reasons for their shock divorce.

Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we have taken a hard look at our situation, our living arrangements, etc., and we have mutually come to the conclusion that it is probably time to dissolve our marriage,” Gerry said to host Juju Chang.
