Inside five studio flats for sale online… ranging in price from £23k to £3m

>

According to the latest statistics, there are currently a total of 2,799 studios for sale online in the UK.

The flats vary in size and price, but they all have one thing in common – and that is that they usually only have one room where the living room, dining room and bedroom are combined.

The price of the studios for sale on Zoopla range in price from the cheapest in Dewsbury in North Yorkshire with a price tag of £23,000 to the most expensive in Knightsbridge in London costing an eye-watering £3 million.

We’ll reveal what the most expensive and cheapest studios look like on the inside, and pick out some other versions available across the country with a price tag somewhere in between these two price extremes.

Of course, some studios can be expensive to run depending on their location and maintenance costs. Since most studios will be leasehold, buyers should check and budget for service charges and leasehold clauses, along with the time remaining on the lease.

Lenders generally do not lend on leases with a term of 70 years or less, as this is considered too high a risk for them.

Daniel Copley, from Zoopla, said: ‘There is a wide range of studios for sale in the UK right now – with everything from doers to luxury studios in central London on offer. If you decide to invest, you can also do enough to maximize your space – whether you invest in smart storage or use mirrors to make the property feel more spacious.’
