A terrifying new video has emerged showing divers exploring the interior of the doomed Bayesian superyacht, two months after it sank in Italy.
The clip, which was broadcast on Monday by Italian investigative television program Quarta Repubblica, shows a team of divers exploring the shipwreck that claimed the lives of seven people on August 19.
The footage shows a diver clinging to a rope as he lowers himself into the water, while bubbles from his oxygen tank rise from the side.
The researchers approached the wreck site of the £30 million superyacht, which is currently at a depth of 50 metres.
After swimming into an opening, the divers float through eerie corridors, hatches and chambers in the Bayesian, which lies on the seabed on the starboard side.

The images come just weeks after the inquest into four of the seven people who died was opened.
They included tech billionaire Mike Lynch, 59, his daughter Hannah, 18, who was due to start at Oxford University this month, and Morgan Stanley International director Jonathan Bloomer and his wife Judy.
Hannah was the last of the seven to be found four days after the sinking, her body hidden behind a mattress below deck.
The Suffolk Coroner’s Court was told that Mr Lynch, who was celebrating being acquitted of a multi-million fraud against Hewlett Packard, is believed to have drowned.
But the cause of death of his daughter and the other two victims was not confirmed, as Italian media speculated that they may have survived for a short time in an air pocket and not drowned but suffocated.
Prosecutors investigating the sinking off Porticello on the Italian island of Sicily believe Bayesian was “engulfed by a wall of water” that led to the sinking after it was hit by a freak storm.
Leaked details from a preliminary report suggest the yacht went down after being overwhelmed by water flowing over the main deck and down the spiral staircase to lower levels.
They are also investigating whether the Bayesian’s signature 75-metre mast could also have been the cause, as it initially ’tilted 45 degrees’, before tilting a full 90 degrees and then sinking.
Wind speeds were around 100 km per hour at the time of the tragedy and a preliminary report quotes researchers as saying: ‘It (Bayesian) had exposed the entire port side to gusts and waves. With such a high mast, the sail effect was decisive when tilting.’

British tech mogul Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah both died in the Bayesian tragedy when the superyacht sank off the coast of Sicily
The first autopsies were performed on lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda (both in the photo) were also found to have no water in their lungs during an autopsy
Autopsies conducted on Morgan Stanley boss Jonathan Bloomer and his wife Judy reveal they ‘suffocated’ in a bubble and did not drown, reports claim
Investigators are still looking into “human error,” focusing on why the engines were not turned on and the yacht’s bow pointed toward the wind to minimize the impact of the storm.
This caused the Bayesian to drift 400 meters and gradually tilt, sending seawater over the decks and down into the bowels of the ship, where the cabins are located and where six of the seven victims were found.
Bayesian is now at a depth of 49 meters with a permanent Coast Guard safety cordon and plans are being drawn up to retrieve her in the coming weeks.
Officials are also investigating why the Bayesian failed to turn on its engines – as did the nearby yacht Sir Baden Powell, which survived the storm unscathed.
Key to this decision are skipper James Cutfield and chief engineer Tim Parker Eaton, with the two expected to be fully questioned in the coming weeks as to why they did not take this action – which would undoubtedly have prevented the sinking.
Fifteen people – including Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares – survived the tragedy – which occurred just months after he was acquitted by a US court of multibillion-dollar fraud involving software giant Hewlett Packard.
New Zealander Cutfield, 51, and British duo Parker Eaton, 59, with watchman Matthew Griffiths, 22, are all under formal investigation for multiple manslaughter and causing a catastrophe.

The time of death for all four was given at 5am on August 19, less than an hour after the yacht was hit by the freak storm known as a downburst with ten guests and twelve crew on board.
When asked by the coroner for further explanation, DS Mike Brown of Suffolk Police said ‘further tests were required’ to determine the cause of death and that this was ‘not unusual’ in such circumstances.
Chief Inspector Brown said that as the Bayesian was British registered, the Marine Accident Investigation Branch was also investigating the sinking and Italian authorities had launched a criminal case.
Coroner Nigel Parsley described the four deaths as ‘very sad’ and adjourned the hearing until April 15, 2025 for ‘further investigation’.
The new images come just a week after the first images of the sunken ship were leaked and broadcast to Quarta Repubblica.
Quarta Repubblica said in its report that the bodies of the dead were found in the side visible on the clip.
The white line seen runs around the fuselage of the Bayesian and dark elongated lines, indicated by red circles, are the cabin windows.
