After nearly three years of marriage, it was announced on Tuesday that Christina Hall is divorcing her husband Joshua Hall.
Despite showing their love on Instagram in March, the couple has reportedly been struggling with marital problems for some time, according to PEOPLE.
This is her third divorce in less than a decade. She was previously married to Flip Or Flop co-host Tarek El Moussa and British TV personality Ant Anstead.
And now, following her latest split, DailyMail.com looks back at Christina’s failed romances with Tarek, Ant and her soon-to-be ex-husband Josh.
TAREK EL MOUSSA: 2005 TO 2018
Christina and Tarek met in 2005, married in 2009 and divorced in 2018 after splitting in 2016; seen in 2017
Christina and Tarek from California met in 2005 while working as brokers at the insurance company Prudential.
The colleagues kept things strictly business until the following year, when Tarek broke up with his then-girlfriend.
“The day Tarek and I officially started dating, on October 9, 2006, we moved in together,” Christina confessed in a 2017 interview with Good housekeeping.
Less than three years later, on April 17, 2009, the couple married surrounded by friends and family on Coronado Island.
Christina and Tarek welcomed their first child, daughter Taylor Reese, 13, in September 2010. Their second child, son Brayden, eight, was born in August 2015.
After the 2008 financial crisis, the couple decided to quit their jobs at Prudential and focus on home sales in Southern California.
It turned out to be an excellent career move for the couple, who subsequently signed a TV deal for their own show Flip Or Flop on the HGTV network.
The show premiered in 2013 and followed Christina and Tarek’s house-flipping adventures. It was a huge success and ran for 10 seasons.
Amidst this success, Tarek was diagnosed with thyroid and testicular cancer, for which he had to undergo treatment with radioactive iodine.
In May 2016, Christina and Tarek’s relationship hit the headlines after an altercation involving a firearm occurred at the couple’s Yorba Linda home.
At the time it was reported that police had been called to a report of a ‘possibly suicidal man with a weapon’.
Police found Tarek on a path near the couple’s home and he was taken home without incident.
In an interview with TODAY after the incident, Tarek claimed the whole issue was “blown out of proportion” and that he had the gun with him for protection.
“There’s mountain lions, bobcats and rattlesnakes and big game out there. I went out to check out some trails, it wasn’t even a big deal. I didn’t understand it. It was really blown out of proportion,” he explained.
Months later, the couple separated and Tarek eventually filed for divorce in January 2017. The divorce was finalized in 2018.
Although they were able to continue hosting Flip Or Flop until 2022, a conflict between the couple surfaced publicly in July 2021 when they got into a heated argument on set.
Sources told TMZ at the time that Tarek was angry after Christina told him and some crew members on set that it was time to resume filming.
This made him angry and he allegedly shouted that he had ‘made’ his ex-wife and called her a ‘lost loser’.
He also brought his current wife Heather Rae Young into the discussion, insulting Christina and reportedly saying that his future wife was richer and more attractive than her.
Sources close to Tarek later stated that he was angry with Christina before flying into a rage after she revealed that she had smoked hallucinogenic toad venom with her soon-to-be ex-husband Joshua Hall.
Shortly after the fight, it was announced that the 10th season of Flip Or Flop would be its last.
Despite all the drama between them, Christina and Tarek have managed to maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship.
ANT ANSTEAD: DECEMBER 2018 TO SEPTEMBER 2020
Christina briefly met British TV presenter Ant Anstead in 2017 and they married in December 2018. They split in 2020 – a year after having three-year-old son Hudson; seen in 2019
Christina found love with British hunk Ant Anstead, just over a year after she split from Tarek in November 2017.
It turned out to be a whirlwind romance for the couple, who met through a mutual friend.
Like Christina, Ant is the mother of two children from a previous relationship.
In January 2018, they made their relationship official and in December they got married at their Newport Beach home.
Christina gave birth to their only child, three-year-old son Hudson, in September 2019.
But almost exactly a year later, fans were shocked when Christina announced that she and Ant were splitting after less than two years of marriage.
“Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate. We are grateful for each other and as always, our children remain our priority,” the Flip Or Flop star wrote at the time.
Ant initially attempted to file for full custody of Hudson after accusing Christina of being a bad parent and creating an unsafe environment for their child.
Christina denied her ex’s claims at the time, admitting she was “heartbroken” over it.
But in June 2021, Ant and Christina finalized their divorce and agreed to joint legal and physical custody of Hudson.
They also managed the possessions and assets they had accumulated during their 21-month marriage ‘privately’.
