Inside Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong’s contrasting Christmases as presenter celebrates his first as a father… while his former wife introduces her baby nephew (and takes a swipe at ‘loser’ exes!)
It’s not their first Christmas apart, but for Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong, this one stood out for remarkably similar reasons.
The former couple ended their 12-year marriage in 2016, with beloved pet Labrador Hurley taking on a role as their sole major point of contact after the split by splitting time between their respective homes.
Although both have remained quiet on social media over the festive period, Ant, 49, enjoyed his first Christmas as a father after welcoming son Wilder with second wife Anne-Marie in May.
The presenter is said to have spent the day at home in London after returning from Australia in mid-December following his annual role as a presenter on ITV show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Ant has also joined forces with regular host Declan Donnelly for online show Taste Mates, exploring a variety of festive recipes with a rotating cast of celebrity friends.
His last public appearance with Anne-Marie and seven-month-old Hurley took place on December 13 during a walk on Wimbledon Common.

Despite hosting I’m A Celeb since it launched in 2002, sources claim he has struggled this year as it has taken him away from his family.
An insider said OK! Magazine: ‘Ant feels very emotional because he is so far away from Anne-Marie and Wilder. It’s the longest he has left them and it will be so hard.
They added: ‘Anne-Marie and Ant will stay in constant contact and FaceTime a lot, but he is concerned about the time difference. When he wakes up, Anne Marie has put Wilder to bed, so it’s difficult to navigate.
‘Ant has ensured that Anne Marie has a strong support system at home and he knows Wilder will be safe with his mother, he will just miss them very much.’
Meanwhile, ex-wife Lisa welcomed her own new addition, with the professional make-up artist introducing social media followers to her newborn nephew.
She posted a series of photos of the child in a sweet elephant baby outfit as she congratulated his parents and told them he was born on Boxing Day.
She captioned the post: “Introducing baby Bowers. Congratulations @morgan.brookex and @bowerz17 He’s just perfect!
‘Jude John-Noel born 26/12/24 5lb 5oz. Great Aunt Cise can’t wait to meet you, little boy.’
Lisa shares joint custody of dog Hurley with Ant, but reports say she wants sole possession of him – something he is said to have resisted.

She then posted an inspiring quote, which referenced the challenges she faced this year.
“You spent 2024 in survival mode. 2025 is your time to rise, rebuild and prosper,” it said.
