Amanda Holden has started her new year off strong as she soaks up the sun on a £1,700 overnight holiday in Mauritius.

The 51-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge is staying at the luxurious five-star LUX Grand Baie situated on the island’s north coast.

Designer and former Dragon’s Den star Kelly Hoppen helped design the hotel, with suites and villas designed to feel like private apartments.
