Perched above the treetops in the star-studded Vail Ski Resort, Walden House offers seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, but some of its more unique features include a private lake, heated driveway, and microbrewery.
The home’s current owner let YouTuber Enes Yilmazer in so he could give an extensive tour.
In a 37-minute video, the real estate pro walks viewers from room to room, with some of his favorite spaces being the “cool,” “cosy,” and “stylish” library and the “peaceful” courtyard.

Before Enes’ tour begins, the home’s former realtor, Tye Stockton, explains the key components of a standout Colorado home.
He says, “So the importance of natural light in Colorado is one of the first things we think about.
“We really want every place in the house to have natural light. In many of the rooms in these houses, the art is really the landscape… the view.”
Returning to Enes, the YouTuber begins his walk outside, highlighting how the home’s natural wood cladding gives it a “rustic feel,” the garage door is clad in copper, and the heated driveway is large enough to comfortably seat 12 to 15 vehicles.
Going inside, he notes how the wood-clad ceilings and Douglas fir wood floors help create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Some rooms off the main hallway have a powder room and a west-facing bedroom complete with a king bed and en-suite bathroom.
Meanwhile there is a staircase leading down to a ‘huge’ laundry room and utility room which houses the electrics and water heating components.
The ‘control center’ is also home to a microbrewery, where the home-brewed beer is pumped up to a tap installed in an upstairs bar.

After moving around the core of the house, Enes ventures into the three-story “tower” that serves a bedroom on each floor.

To top it off, Enes explains that under the snowpack there is a lake that can be used for paddle boarding, and on the other side of the main building is a swimming pool and pool house.
When it comes to the name of the property, Enes reveals that it was inspired by American transcendentalist author Henry David Thoreau’s novel Walden.
He concludes, “This home’s unique architecture and connection to the outdoors is inspired by Walden…it’s a fitting homage to a novel that celebrates the beauty of simple living and natural surroundings.”
