Crazy moment an Uber Eats food delivery guy ends up at a greyhound racing track after taking a wrong turn: “To be fair, the service was great”

An Uber Eats delivery driver who took a spectacular wrong turn has shown that he was either very dedicated to his job, hopelessly lost, or a little bit of both.

Spectators for the Mandurah Greyhounds in Western Australia were stunned this week when the food delivery driver entered the track during a competition.

Fortunately, there were no dogs on the course at the time, as the water truck was preparing the surface for the upcoming run.

The shocked officers had to wave to the driver as puzzled onlookers looked on, one of whom said in disbelief, “He’s here to deliver a pizza.”

It is not clear how the dedicated driver got the instructions so wrong.

Greyhound trainer Callum Robson filmed the incident and posted it on Twitter, saying: “When an Uber Eats order is delivered to the track.”

“Hahahahaha that’s outrageous,” Corey Smith replied.

“That’s a delivery service,” added Tom Clark.

Greyhounds Racing Western Australia manager Denis O’Brien was not present when the incident occurred but confirmed that the driver had entered the track during active competition.

I don’t know how he did it. She managed to get onto the track while the track leveling was in progress,” she said.

‘It’s not an easy thing to do.’

Authorities detain rogue Uber Eats driver who somehow took a wrong turn and ended up at Mandurah greyhound racing track

Dogs jump at Mandurah in Western Australia, but only when the track has been cleared of Uber Eats drivers.

O’Brien added that hungry greyhound trainers who work long shifts often order food at the track, but it is usually left in the parking lot, not at the track itself.

“What this guy did, he went in through the main entrance and went down our service access road, which normally only drives a tractor, through the shed and through the parking lot, just followed the water tractors up the road,” said. he said she.

‘I mean, the service is exceptional, to be fair. ‘

O’Brien said the gate will be locked in the future to prevent it from happening again.
