Ingleburn: Man charged with attempted murder after teenager stabbed 30 times on a Sydney bus

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a teenager was stabbed 30 times on a bus in Sydney’s south-west.

An 18-year-old was found with serious injuries at a bus stop at the intersection of Sackville Street and Barff Road in Ingleburn earlier this week.

He was rushed to Liverpool Hospital and is now in a stable condition.

Police claim the teen was stabbed in a random attack.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at a bus stop in Macquarie Fields at 3pm on Thursday.

He was later charged with attempted murder and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Friday.
