Influencers complain about their ’24/7 job’ and insist the ‘workload’ is more than people think
Top Australian influencers lament their ’24/7 job’ and insist the ‘workload’ is much more than people might think
An Australian influencer duo has maintained that creating social media content is a tough full-time job.
Twin sisters Sam and Teagan Rybka, who are known as The Rybka Twins on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, rose to fame after appearing on Australia’s Got Talent at the age of 17 to showcase their dancing and acrobatic skills.
Now, at 27, the pair make dance videos for a living — but claim it’s not easy.
“It wasn’t until we got our first paycheck that we realized, oh my god, we can literally do this full time,” Teagan told the Daily telegram.
“No one can post a video and make money off it, you have to build a following.”

Sam and Teagan both said that despite working “24/7,” they “have the best job in the world and are so grateful.”
“People always underestimate the workload,” Teagan added.
“We are perfectionists, so a 15-second TikTok takes an hour to film. We like to describe it as an endless to-do list.’
The Perth sisters have taken the fashion world by storm with the launch of their highly anticipated collaboration with global online retailer SHEIN.

Sam added: ‘It’s so nice to express our personality through fashion in this way. We already love styling our looks together, and now to have a collection that we actually created is something very special to us.”
The official reveal of the SHEIN x Rybka Twins capsule collection took place at an exclusive event at Sydney’s Hyde Hacienda Bar and Lounge.
