Influencer sparks concern with Bianca Censori-style post: ‘Her boyfriend is a misogynist’

A blue-blooded influencer with a swimwear line has sparked concern after posting a swimsuit ‘inspired by how [her] friend would dress [her.]’

29-year-old Jordan Kanegis’ final product is a barely-there, Bianca Censori-esque creation – covered by a ski mask that completely conceals the face.

She put on the swimsuit herself and wrote in an accompanying caption: ‘New @Netta [her brand]. Inspired by how my boyfriend would dress me if there were no rules.’

The claim, joke or not, has caused a firestorm of comments on Reddit.

“That caption is a bit concerning,” one top commentator wrote in response. “It gives Bianca and Kanye.”

“I’m all for everyone being able to wear whatever they want,” they added.

“But something about men wanting to dress women in a way that objectifies them, and the fact that she thinks it’s cool, is weird.”

Other onlookers said more of the same, all in response to a reposted grab of the influencer’s Instagram story published just hours earlier.

“It’s sad that she thinks her boyfriend covering her mouth and exposing her is an excuse,” one person said.

“I always think about how hard women have fought in the past for their rights to have a voice, to make choices, to have dreams… only for little fools like her to promote stupid things on the internet.”

Another wrote: ‘Wow her boyfriend is a misogynist with no style? Shocking.’

‘[T]He’s some Kanye West shit,” another added – while others hit the suit like a red flag.

“I thought this was Bianca,” said another Reddit user – apparently not alone in her assessment, as a plethora said the same thing.

“Temu Kanye and Bianca from Wish found at the Salvation Army,” one joker snapped.

‘What kind of lingerie is this[sic] rob a bank?’ said a more surprised passerby, pointing to what appeared to be leg warmers on Kanegis’ feet.

“This is so weird,” they concluded.

The design seemed to take a page from 29-year-old Bianca Censort’s book, which some claim is the work of husband Kanye West.

That fact was not lost on Reddit users who started a thread on Tuesday to respond to the post, which was shared just hours earlier

Kanegis now has more than 40,000 followers on social media, where she regularly posts other risqué photos and accounts of her exploits in New York and West Palm Beach, where she is based.

Splitting her time between the two cities, she recently started a modeling agency in the Big Apple called The Killer Agency, which she runs alongside Netta, which she founded in 2018.

The line is now sold through select retailers such as Moda Operandi and Paltrow’s Goop, with the actress even following Kanegis on Instagram.

The two are also cousins, making Kanegis the niece of WeWork founder Adam Neumann, who is married to Paltrow’s cousin Rebecca.

Kanegis posts from upscale SoHo eateries, sometimes bragging about being mistaken for Kendall Jenner, and regularly posts photos with boyfriend Andrew.

Rebekah was born Rebekah Victoria Paltrow, the daughter of Evelyn and Bob Paltrow – and the cousin of Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow

She also has a townhouse in Gramercy and is originally from Bedford, a small, affluent town about an hour north of Manhattan.

Rebecca Neumann – née Paltrow – also grew up in Bedford and is the daughter of Evelyn and Bob Paltrow, the brother of Gwyneth’s father Bruce, a film and television producer in Hollywood.

Her childhood home is now valued at $3.56 million. The city is currently home to stars such as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Glenn Glose, Chevy Chase, Martha Stewart and Ralph Lauren.

Kate and Rooney Mara, Nicola Peltz and Felicity Huffman all grew up in Bedford too.

“Her mother had a lot of money and they had a huge piece of land, a big, beautiful house,” Gwyneth told Porter Magazine in a 2015 interview about Rebekah’s childhood.
