Sophie Cachia is separated from her basketball player fiance Maddie Garrick.
The former reality star made the heartbreaking revelation on Instagram on Sunday evening.
“It is with great sadness and pain that I have unfortunately made the decision to end my relationship,” wrote 32-year-old Sophie.

“When I introduced her, I did it with the guarantee of loyalty, trust, honesty and respect on my part,” she added.
Despite not disclosing the reason for the split, Sophie said she made the decision for herself and her children.
“Despite the great amount of love I still cherish, I made this decision to lead by example for what I know I deserve in life for myself and for my children – because we are all worth it.”
Sophie added: “While I’m in pain, life has to go on. I still have to show up for work with my companies and most importantly, be a mother and role model to my two children.”
“When I proposed to her, I did it with the guarantee of loyalty, trust, honesty and respect on my part,” she wrote. “Despite the great amount of love I still cherish, I made this decision to lead by example for what I know I deserve in life for myself and for my children – because we are all worth it”
She ended it by saying she wasn’t expecting it and wanted to protect herself.
“Unfortunately, this is a position I really didn’t want to be in. That’s why I beg you, please let me be, to protect my children and my sanity and enable us to heal and move forward.’
She finished, “I won’t comment further.”

It comes just a month after WNBL star Maddie moved to Italy for work after signing with local basketball club Polisportiva A.Galli Basket, leaving Sophie back in Melbourne with her two children, daughter Florence aged five and son Bobby aged eight.
Before Maddie’s departure, Sophie shared a heartfelt Instagram post in which she insisted their new long-distance relationship was a blow of fate.
Sophie proposed to Maddie in March by offering her a huge ring with three diamonds.

The Australian Survivor star was previously married to AFL star Jaryd Cachia, which ended before she started dating women.
“I had a beautiful man in my life, and I still do. He’s an incredible father and an incredible friend to me, but why can’t women search more?’ she said during a candid interview with the No Filter podcast in July 2020.
“That married life that I realized wasn’t what I wanted. And it wasn’t that I realized, ‘Oh, I love women now, I’m going to leave my marriage,’ it wasn’t. I realized I wanted more.’
