A wealthy Sydney influencer has hit out at her own fans for correcting the way she pronounces a well-known designer brand.
Sarah Stevenson, known online as Sarah's Day, took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to show off her outfit before heading out for dinner with a friend.
The mother-of-three filmed herself in the mirror holding two handbags from Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe and pronouncing the brand 'Low-ee'.
Fashion-conscious fans immediately flooded Sarah's inbox with messages informing her that the correct pronunciation is actually “Lo-weh-vay.”
This clearly struck a chord with Sarah, who returned to Instagram Stories with a bizarre rant that hit back at her critics.

'Literally shut up, shut up! OK?' the blonde raged.
She then condemned her followers for correcting her in an “unkind” manner.
“First of all, yes, I did. I said Low-ee. Secondly, I don't appreciate the rudeness, okay?' she ranted.

“There is a loving and kind way to correct someone. You learn that when you're a mother and you're trying to raise children.”
Sarah insisted it wasn't her fault she mispronounced Loewe as no one had corrected her in the past, while claiming she still doesn't know how to pronounce brands like Moët, Louis Vuitton and Jacquemus.
She also noted that she's “not the kind of person who goes to Google” how to pronounce a name.

'Like that's just not in my DNA. I just would never do that. I just read something and I'm just calling it what it is… I'm not an overthinker. I'm an under-thinker in that regard,” she explained.
In an attempt to prove her point, Sarah then posted a questionnaire to her followers, asking how they pronounce the name of certain brands.
Among them was the champagne brand Moët, which is pronounced with a hard t.
“For years I said 'Mo-ay,'” Sarah admitted.
Sarah was also surprised to learn that the fashion brand Decjuba is pronounced 'De-cuba' and not, as she previously thought, 'Dec-joo-bah'.
