A mother-of-four has impressed her only followers by revealing how she can remove stubborn stains from her children’s clothes without the need for cleaning products.
Australian influencer Bronte Towns took to her Instagram account @JourneyOfAnHonestMumto share the tip with her followers, which only takes 30 seconds.
The clip, which has racked up more than 11,000 likes, shows Bronte tackling a stubborn stain using just hot water from her kettle.
“I’m about to blow your mind,” Bronte told cleaning enthusiasts as she filmed a video of her boiling kettle.
She then placed the child’s white vest with a giant purple stain on it in the sink, before pouring the contents of the kettle directly onto the stain, which quickly dissolved.

By repeating the hack on a light pink wool sweater, she achieved exactly the same result.
In the caption she wrote, “What an insane hack to know as a mom! So nice to find hacks that REALLY work!!
“I put this on dried berry stains from the day before and they all came out.”
Many rushed to the comments to leave their own thoughts on the genius stain removal tip.

It comes after Fran Forgione, laundry expert at AO.com in Manchester, revealed some tips and tricks for removing nasty stains using items in your own home.
She explained, “When it comes to stains, many of us turn to expensive, harsh chemicals to remove them, without realizing that combinations of inexpensive pantry items work just as effectively.”
She revealed what to do if you get a nasty red wine stain on your carpet at home.
If your glass gets messed up, you don’t need magic potions or expensive stain removers, just hairspray.
She said: ‘To treat the stain, liberally spray hairspray, let it sit for a few minutes and then blot the stain to remove any residue. Repeat as many times as necessary and then wash on the highest setting possible to completely remove the stain.’
Or try covering the affected area with soda or sparkling water as soon as possible, as the bubbles will help push the stain out of the fabric.
