Influencer rehomes dog because she’s ‘too busy’… before posting videos partying with friends and organising her spice cabinet

Influencer couple Christie Swadling and Joel Price have raised eyebrows after announcing they are rehoming their pet French Bulldog London as they are ‘quite busy’.

Joel, who works as an online fitness coach and owns a dog breeding company called Fendie Frenchies, shared the news via Instagram on Saturday.

“It is with heavy hearts that we are looking for a new home for our London,” Joel began, posting four photos of the adorable pup.

Joel went on to explain that he and Christie had purchased London from another breeder with the intention of using her to breed more dogs, but said their plans have changed.

“Due to the work demands and the fact that life is getting quite busy we will be stepping away from breeding at this time,” he wrote, adding: “London is a Blue Fluffy Merle and will destroy the market if he goes with the the right male is bred.’

A day after Joel’s post, Christie posted a photo gallery to Instagram showing her sipping a cocktail at a local bar and posing with friends at a cafe.

The blonde also shared glimpses of her newly organized pantry and spice cabinet, as well as images of herself enjoying a leisurely walk on the beach and attending a third birthday party at a local park.

In recent days, Christie has shared a glimpse into her morning schedule, which includes making a protein smoothie, working out at her home gym, taking her dog for a walk on the beach and working on her fitness app at home.

It comes after Christie filed for bankruptcy after racking up a pile of debt she cannot repay.

Documents leaked online in February last year revealed that the social media star was in financial trouble, even as she projects a lavish lifestyle on social media.

It was revealed that Swadling was bankrupt after an anonymous user on the Tattle Life forums paid $15 to obtain the paperwork for her bankruptcy filing.

The Instagram model listed her job as an “advertising and marketing professional” in the publicly available document filed on December 29, 2022.

The status of her bankruptcy is ‘unterminated’, meaning that she will still have to repay certain debts and she will not be able to borrow from financial institutions again without the declaration of her bankruptcy.

Although the release of the debtor’s petition did not specify outstanding debts, the Australian Financial Securities Authority says a creditor must request $10,000 or more to apply to declare you bankrupt.

On April 20, Swadling went to court for a financial investigation to assess her property and financial circumstances as a means of satisfying the judgment debt.

She carried a Louis Vuitton handbag worth a whopping $2,840 as she prepared for the examination to determine her ability to repay her debts.
