A well-known influencer is allegedly pretending to live in a mansion when in reality she resides in a standard three-bedroom apartment in western Sydney.

The social media personality is apparently posting photos on Instagram that imply she lives in the palatial home, but her real-life situation is much more humble.

According to a blind article published by AU Influencer Updates On Wednesday, the woman previously shared images of a stunning mansion with a grand entrance, elevator, and pool, though she reportedly doesn’t live there.

A well-known influencer is allegedly pretending to live in a mansion when she actually resides in a standard three-bedroom apartment in western Sydney, according to a hidden insider from Influencer Updates AU.

In fact, he lives in a ‘little three-bedroom house’ down the road from one of Influencer Updates AU’s followers in Sydney’s west, where house prices are cheaper than in the luxurious east.

The blind item, which was submitted by the follower but deleted the name of the influencer in question, read: ‘[Redacted] Influencer from Sydney who takes photos as if he lives in a mansion with an elevator and pool when in reality it is a small three-bedroom house in the west, up the street from where I am.’

The account manager posted two stock photos for illustrative purposes to show how different the ‘real’ house and the mansion the woman claims to live in actually are.

It’s not uncommon for influencers to tell little white lies on social media, as being seen as a lavish lifestyle often brings more followers, endorsements, and money.

Daily Mail Australia has not named the influencer in question for legal reasons.

Influencer Updates AU encourages its followers to dob on influencers who misbehave, but the admin often posts the gossip without naming the people.
