Influencer Karina Irby reveals the shocking body part she used to eat as a baby
Body positive influencer Karina Irby has revealed a rather unusual dish she was fed as a child.
The 34-year-old shared a video to her Instagram Story on Saturday as she celebrated her mother Kim’s birthday with lunch.
Karina admitted at the restaurant table that her mother gave her “brains” as a baby.
“I’m sitting here with my mom having a lovely birthday lunch and she’s sitting here saying, ‘Oh yeah, when you were a baby I fed your brains,'” Karina revealed, before her mom replied, “She loved it.”
Karina continued, “She said something like, ‘I just wanted you to have a healthy baby brain, so I was going to feed you canned brains?'”
Kim protested, saying that the dish did not come from a can, but from a jar.
“No, it wasn’t a can,” Kim said. “I think it was some kind of baby food, a jar of baby food. And she loved it.”
Laughing, Karina replied with a modest look: ‘Well, it didn’t work.’

The owner of popular swimwear brand Moana Bikini looked stylish during lunch in a white jacket over a black top, teamed with a pair of gold earrings.
The confession follows Karina being thrown out of a Gold Coast cafe in June after she turned up for an impromptu photoshoot in a swimwear.
The body positive influencer shared a video of herself and her friends arriving without a reservation at Palm Springs Café in Burleigh Heads and beginning to film an advert for her activewear line.
Karina explained that she assumed the location would have no problem with the photoshoot, as she had bought cake and coffee there.

“I thought I could order a bunch of nice food and drinks, eat, and have the girls from Moana Smile Club perform at this local cafe,” she began.
Unfortunately for Irby, the cafe staff were not happy about this and immediately sent her and her friends away.
“We were asked not to film there and so we were thrown out of the cafe,” a furious Karina told her fans.
However, Palm Springs Cafe owners Cohen and Josh had a different version of events, telling Ny Breaking Australia that Karina was not ‘asked to leave’ but that they had to book the shoot at a reasonable time.
“We do not allow professional photoshoots during business hours out of respect for our guests. However, we do rent out our space for professional shoots, it is a service we offer,” Cohen said.
