Influencer films themselves gleefully parking in a disabled parking spot

Emma Claiir and husband Aaron Mugica have been embroiled in another social media controversy.

In a video that has surfaced, new dad Mugica was seen grinning as he got out of his car which he left behind in a clearly designated disabled park.

The footage, released Thursday by watchdog account Influencer Tea Aus, began showing the clear space handicap sign.

It then flipped down to show Aaron getting out of his car and saying, smiling, “I’ve got a park.” The video ends there.

In all Australian states and territories, it is against the law to stop or park a vehicle in a parking lot or area set aside for the disabled.

Only people with disabilities and properly displayed, valid and current permits can park in a disabled parking space.

Failure to comply with the law in this regard may result in forfeiture of demerit points and a fine of up to $600.

It comes after wife Emma, 28, was widely criticized and axed by makeup company MCoBeauty in April when she admitted to two incidents of historic animal cruelty on an episode of her podcast Simply Chaotic.

Three other brands subsequently cut ties with Emma, including a vegan makeup company that can’t boast of animal testing for its products.

Lust Minerals confirmed in a lengthy Instagram post at the time that it would no longer work with Emma either.

“We are deeply saddened by the events that have taken place regarding Emma Claiir. Lust Minerals does not condone cruelty of any kind. We stand by our values - our products are cruelty free and vegan certified,” the statement read.

‘As a company we take these matters very seriously and have therefore made the decision to end all activities with Emma Claiir. Our community is our first priority.’

Fashion retailers Glassons and Princess Polly also distanced themselves from Emma and said they would not work with her in future campaigns, according to screenshots of DMs the brand sent to customers.

The screenshots, obtained by “snark” account Influencer Updates AU, confirmed that both labels had cut ties with Emma over her cat controversy.

Emma, who shares two-month-old son Jett-Jones with Aaron, shared the bizarre admission on her podcast in April after her co-host Kristy Jean asked her to reveal a personal secret.

A child’s mother left Jean baffled by admitting, “I killed my cat.”

Chuckling awkwardly, Emma continued, “I didn’t mean to… I was young, I was a child.

“I waved my cat. I thought it was just a hug. And I accidentally released it.”

Emma clarified that the animal died ‘from fright’, rather than from any injuries from being flung across the room.

After sharing a laugh with her co-host, Emma added: “I just want to say, I’m giggling about it now, but this happened for years and years and years [ago].

“And, like, I was crazy about a little kid.” Incredibly, Emma went on to admit that she “also accidentally killed her best friend’s cat.”
