Sydney influencer Sarah’s Day has provided an update on plans for her Italian-style holiday home after being criticized for being tone-deaf amid the cost-of-living crisis.
The cash-up social media star, whose real name is Sarah Stevenson, gushed about her new build.
While she hasn’t revealed the location of the new property, it will be built on a large piece of coastal land that she and husband Kurt Tilse bought at auction in March.
The mother-of-two only teased a few details about her building plans, but said it would be big enough to accommodate her extended family.
She added that the “big vacation home” would also be designed to be used as an Airbnb or wedding venue.

“I know in my head what I want it to look like and how I want to feel,” the fitness guru told her 1.2 million followers.
“I’m so excited…So maybe we’ll stay in and book it out sometime.”
Sarah also posted photos of her “mood board” for the new home on her Instagram story.
“We’re going for a warm, earthy, Italian-inspired villa,” she said in the caption.
Her inspiring photographs showed a sprawling palatial European home finished in stone.
There were also photos of a stone courtyard, built-in pool and outdoor dining area.
It comes after Sarah was criticized on social media after she announced she was buying the land four months ago.
Sarah, who already owns a home in Cronulla with husband Kurt, has been criticized as the revelation comes at a time when so many are grappling with the housing crisis.
“I’ll be sharing some big life updates that will essentially take up a lot of my time over the next few years and really, change our lives forever,” she said.

“It’s pretty big news for us, which I wasn’t really going to share, but I decided it was going to get out anyway.”
After revealing her purchase on her YouTube channel, fans turned on Sarah, accusing the influencer of tone deafness.
