Influencer Constance Hall reveals how the housing crisis is impacting her family: ‘In need of somewhere to stay’
Constance Hall has shared her happiness with her extended family and says she is proud to do so.
As Australia faces a housing crisis, the mummy blogger and influencer says she has been able to move a cousin’s family into the home she shares with her seven children and partner Denim Cooke in Western Australia.
“Due to the brutal housing crisis, Denz and I received the welcome surprise that my cousin and her family needed a place to stay,” the 40-year-old wrote on Facebook this week.
Since things were tight, her partner and her cousin got their hands dirty hooking up an old wagon that Constance had in the driveway next to their house to create extra space.
“Today, as I painted the door green, I said to Denz, “Do you realize we’re living our dream? Remember when the OG dream was to build a community with treehouses and cabins, waterfalls and skate ramps?” , she wrote.
‘Of course, it’s not about a piece of land, but we use my design and your skills to turn this small house into a residential community suitable for everyone who needs it? And he put down his tools and came to give me a high five.”
Constance concluded: ‘Someone once said to me, ‘Although there is a roof over my head, there is a roof over yours too.’ It was a very nice thing to say and I have never forgotten it.
“I can only hope that our home turns life’s lemons into lemonade for those who need it for the rest of our lives.”

It comes after the blogger gave fans an update on her relationship with Denim and said in an Instagram Stories video that they are going from strength to strength.
“Yes, it got better, they baptize and then they get better again,” she said.
“What I like most about Denzy is that his heart is kind, very kind and he is always willing to change, grow and listen,” she continued.
“For example, I said to him the other day, I don’t want to keep telling you what the fuck to do because I need to focus on what I’m doing and I tried him out and we fought,” Constance continued.
“Then he went away and thought about it, he comes back and he says, ‘I think it’s because I never saw my dad do this’ and he was vacuuming and he said, I really want to get better, I wants to get better. a better husband.”

Constance had lived separately from her partner after he almost died falling off a motorbike, but has since moved back in with her.
“He completely took his life after the accident,” she said.
Denim was involved in a horror motorcycle accident in August 2020.
The 48-year-old was airlifted to a trauma unit at Royal Perth Hospital and suffered seven broken ribs, punctured lungs, multiple infections and brain injuries after skidding from his bike.
‘I think I was very excited when he woke up from the accident. And there was a kind of false hope,” Constance said.
“I spoke to the doctors and they said Denim has no motivation anymore. The frontal lobe damage took away everything he could have had before.
Constance concluded: ‘Someone once said to me, ‘Although there is a roof over my head, there is a roof over yours too.’ It was very nice to say that and I have never forgotten it.’
“His psychiatrist recently said, and it was very clever, ‘He loves you.’ He loves his family. He has to work for you instead of just getting you and all the things you do and offer… and that’s not going to happen. unless he is removed from the parental home.”
The couple sought out an assisted care facility to get away from each other for a few nights and heal, but Constance was constantly reminded that he was “becoming a shadow of a man.”
Denim went to stay with ‘his best friend’ who lives in Esperance, a 10-hour drive from Constance’s home in Margaret River.
‘I spoke to him the next day and there was just a light on his face… like he was back to normal. He was clear. He was awake and alive and surrounded by lovely people,” she said.
Her empathy, compassion and longing soon returned and Constance thanks her partner’s psychiatrist for intervening when he did to ‘help them’.
Constance and Denim met in 2017, they ‘married’ and had their son Raja in 2018, bringing their total ‘child count’ to seven.
The controversial mummy blogger explained until recently that she was still legally married to her first husband, British carpenter Bill Mahon, because she couldn’t handle the red tape that came with a divorce, which is why she and Denim are not currently legally married. time.
