An Australian influencer has been called cheap for selling a used home decor piece and passing it off as ‘basically’ new.
Sarah Stevenson, who runs the Sarah’s Day blog, tried to sell a white woven rug, which retails for $849, on her Instagram stories last week.
The YouTuber, who has more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram and a reported net worth of $2 million, claimed the rug was “basically new” and only used briefly in her eldest son Fox’s bedroom.

She then shared a photo of her youngest son, Malakai, crawling on the rug, adding the caption: “Bought for $849 so give me a price.”
