Influencer bride is forced to deny she trashed her wedding venue

Influencer bride is forced to deny trashing her wedding venue and being kicked out: ‘It’s not something I would ever do’

Model Ellie Gonsalves came forward Monday to deny speculation that she was the anonymous influencer who vandalized her own wedding venue.

A blind gossip circulated last week claiming that an Aussie identity had been kicked out of their wedding venue along with their guests for rowdy and abusive behavior on social media.

When Ellie was asked during an Instagram Q&A if she was the bride at the center of the alleged incident, she denied any such thing happened at her recent wedding on the Gold Coast.

She added that she would never “tolerate” that “type of behavior.”

‘No, we certainly weren’t. First, I have a lot of respect for everyone I ever work/surround with, and second, my friends would never do that to me either,” she told her followers.

“It’s sad to hear that someone, let alone someone with a social media following, disrespects someone’s business in that way. It’s not something I would ever do or the kind of behavior I would tolerate from my guests.”

Dutch Mintthe watchdog account that originally reported the blind gossip item also confirmed that Ellie wasn’t the influencer who destroyed her own marriage.

“I can confirm 100 percent that the entry was not about Ellie. The wedding of the influencer in question took place in early 2022,” the admin said.

While Ellie wasn’t kicked out of her wedding venue for bad behavior, she did cause a stir last Saturday when she received backlash for wearing a “naked” dress.

Ellie spared no expense for her lavish wedding to Ross Scutts in March when she donned three different white dresses for her big day.

Her main dress for the ceremony featured long sleeves, an illusion neckline and a dramatic train.

However, it was her third dress that received a flurry of negative comments, with many fans saying it was inappropriate for a wedding.

Ellie posted a video of herself walking to her bridal party in the barely visible dress, and caption: “My husband’s face when he saw me unveiled in this dress at our wedding.”

She paired the ‘naked’ corset style wedding dress with a pair of strappy silver heels.

Some of her followers said the revealing mini dress looked more like lingerie as it featured sheer tulle and a bold high thigh split.
