Infinity Nikki, one of the most hyped games of 2024, will be available for pre-download starting Tuesday

Infinity Nikkithe long-awaited RPG that combines open-world exploration with dress-up play is almost here.

Created by Singapore-based studio Infold Games, Infinity Nikki is the next installment in the dress up game series known as Nikki. The game will be available for pre-download starting Tuesday, but will officially launch on Thursday. The game will launch on mobile devices, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The developers have one new story trailer Monday nightwhich teased a scenario where Nikki will save a mystical god of wishes.

Based on the new trailer, it seems like the story will feature several fantasy elements. Infinity Nikki takes place in a world called Miraland. Within it is a magical forest where fairytale creatures called Faewish Sprites collect people’s wishes for a god. However, it looks like that god has gone missing and it’s up to Nikki to save him. We don’t know all the details yet, but the trailer also gave us a glimpse of two characters, including a possible villain who looks like you made a Disney prince into a Final Fantasy character.

The hype around Infinity Nikki has been quite high. That’s largely because it’s rare to get a fashion-focused adventure game, let alone one that features open-world exploration, a full-fledged story, and loads of puzzles. In addition, credits for the development team, including a developer from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildhave further fueled interest in the game and boosted the studio’s reputation. Infold Games ran a closed beta in August this year and soon anyone interested can give it a try.
