A barren uterine robber who stabbed a heavily pregnant woman and crushed her skull and then tore her unborn baby from her womb, killing them both, was sentenced to death yesterday.

Taylor Rene Parker, 29, was sentenced to the death sentence after a jury of six men and six women deliberated for less than two hours in Bowie County, 150 miles east of Dallas, according to TXK Today.

The 29-year-old killed Reagan Michelle Simmons-Hancock, 21, and her unborn baby in New Boston on October 9, 2020.

She stabbed Michelle more than 100 times and crushed her skull with a hammer before removing her unborn baby Braxlynn Sage from her uterus with a scalpel.

Parker then fled with the girl, who later died, leaving Michelle to die in front of her three-year-old daughter.

She was convicted in October of manslaughter after a jury deliberated for an hour.

Jessica Brooks, Michelle’s mother, described Parker as “a bad piece of meat” and said, “My baby was still alive for her babies when you ripped her open and ripped her baby out of her tummy.”

Michelle’s heartbroken sister made an emotional victim statement yesterday before the jury deliberations began.

Emily Simmons told Parker, “My only biological sister. You must understand what you have taken from me and my family.

‘Don’t celebrate her birthday anymore. I was barely 19 when I got the call that my sister was gone.

‘She will never be my bridesmaid. When I visit my sister I have to go to a graveyard and see a headstone. I’ll never get a text or call from her again.”

Prosecutors said Parker was so terrified of losing her boyfriend Wade Griffin that she faked a pregnancy for nearly 10 months.

She was already a mother of two children, but had undergone a hysterectomy, which prevented her from having any more children.

She faked ultrasounds, held a gender reveal party and posted on social media about her fake pregnancy while searching for a victim.

She had befriended Michelle because she was pregnant.

Wade Griffin (pictured) Parker’s boyfriend at the time believed she was pregnant and having his child. He told officers he planned to meet Parker at the hospital to be induced on the day of the murder. Authorities explained how Parker desperately wanted to give her then-boyfriend Wade Griffin a child but failed to tell him she’d had a hysterectomy.

Parker killed Jessica when she was 35 weeks pregnant after searching online for ways to give birth and fake a pregnancy, prosecutors said.

Parker will be transferred to the Mountain View Unit in Gatesville, Texas after her conviction.

This is where the state of Texas houses its female death row inmates, according to court officials.

The 29-year-old has the right to appeal her sentence.
