Infamous 1990s statutory rapist Joey Buttafuoco resurfaces with new girlfriend decades after Amy Fisher shot his wife Mary Jo in the face
The 1990s’ most famous philanderer, Joey Buttafuoco, has resurfaced with a girlfriend decades after his teenage lover, Amy Fisher, shot his wife in the face.
Joey, who spent four months in jail after admitting to statutory rape, was featured in a video with a new woman on their joint TikTok account: ryannejoey.
In the video, the couple appears to be lounging in bed as they respond to comments from their growing fan base.

One of the commenters didn’t believe the man on his screen was actually Joey, and accused him of being an imposter – pending verification via the spider tattoo on his forearm.
He and his girlfriend responded by showing off his large tattoo in the video: “You mean this spider tattoo?”
His girlfriend said sarcastically, “There’s only one Joey B, I think that’s him. The world loves to hate, but I love, to love, to love you.”
Joey made headlines in 1992 when Amy, a teenager with whom he began an affair when she was 16, shot his wife, Mary Jo, in the face.
Amy had gone to Mary Jo to tell her about her affair. When Mary Jo dismissed her claims as untrue, Amy pulled a gun on her and shot her in the side of the face on the porch of the couple’s home in Massapequa, New York.
Miraculously, Mary Jo survived and later identified Amy as her shooter. Amy was sentenced to seven years in prison and became a porn star after her release.
Joey served four months in prison after admitting to statutory rape and Mary Jo filed for divorce in 2003.
Since his release, Joey has appeared in interviews and explained his side of the story, but his love life has managed to stay out of the spotlight until now.
Joey and Ryanne began posting videos together in June 2022, including clips of him with her children, celebrating birthdays together, and numerous videos of them talking about his past.
In one video, old photos and recent photos of Joey filled the screen.
‘God is good and merciful and I am grateful for that. He’s another chance God. He blessed me with peace and happiness,” Ryanne wrote.

Joey and his Ryanne started posting videos together in June 2022, including videos of him with her children, celebrating birthdays together, and numerous videos of them talking about his past.
In another response, Ryanne responded to a comment that suggested she would keep Joey “away from underage girls.”
Joey’s girlfriend said, “I don’t think that’s right. Who raised you? Who raised you?’
‘Keep my kids out of this shit**. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Keep scrolling.’
In 2022, thirty years after Mary Jo, now 68, was shot in the face, she spoke to DailyMail.com for an exclusive interview.
“I don’t want a ‘poor me’ story,” she said.
‘I am satisfied, I am happy, I am very grateful. This is the most peaceful time of my life, but it has been a hard-earned peace.”
When she was shot, the bullet, from a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol, lodged in the base of her brain, above the spinal column.
The strong-willed woman survived the near-death experience and underwent multiple surgeries and facial reconstructions, along with the emotional trauma of an unfaithful husband and his underage mistress.
Mary Jo, who became paralyzed and deaf on one side of her face within a year, said she was mocked for the tragedy.
“It’s become a big joke,” she said.
She went on to find peace in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles. And although she has lived there for 26 years, Mary Joe has retained some of her Long Island candor.
When asked if there were any misconceptions about her that she wanted to correct, she replied: “Ah no. So much has happened, honestly, I’m not kidding myself.”
Mary Jo told DailyMail.com that the family was forced to leave their home and move to the West Coast when life there became unbearable.
‘If I am recognized these days, it is a positive thing. But then it was me in the supermarket, staring and shouting, ‘What’s wrong with you? Why do you stay with that idiot?” and worse.”
‘I’m a housewife, not a movie star, I wasn’t used to it. I had two young children still in school, I couldn’t help but think about them,” Mary Jo added.

“Blaming people doesn’t necessarily help,” she said in the interview.
‘I still have all those feelings, so I’ve learned to accept my situation as I am. Blaming has never served me or my mental health.”
Jessie was just nine years old when her family made headlines for the infamous ‘Long Island Lolita’ case.
After the trial, the then 38-year-old told The Doctors that her life “became a reality show” and that “the whole world hated my family.”
She said she was once asked if she was her father’s newest teenage girlfriend while riding in a convertible with him.
Jessie was also humiliated when she applied to New York University’s theater program as a teenager, when an interviewer asked, “Are you related to that clown Joey Buttafuoco?”
She was forced to admit that she was.
In February 2021, Joey spoke with Dr. Oz and described how he learned to “cook meth” when he was just five years old.
‘I believe it set me on a path of total self-destruction.
“Whether it was drugs, alcohol or whatever it was, I’m sure I was trying to bury every feeling I didn’t think I had.”
“But it definitely steered me in that direction,” he said.
Joey met Amy at his auto body shop. She damaged the car her parents gave her for her birthday, but wanted someone to fix it without them knowing.
Joey was 35 at the time and it was reported that Amy gradually fell in love with him.
