Industry series three FIRST LOOK: Kit Harington takes on role of green tech CEO Lord Henry Muck as he works on a deal with Marisa Abuela’s Yasmin and the Pierpoint & Co team

Kit Harington is seen as Lord Henry Muck in the first images of the upcoming third series of high-budget drama Industry.

The industry has captivated fans with its insider’s look at the black box of the financial world, which followed a group of young bankers into the pressure-cooker environment and sex-and-drug-fueled blitz of the London office of international bank Pierpoint & Co.

The BBC and HBO have previewed the series in which money, government and class will collide as Pierpoint & Co take a ‘big bet’ on ethical investing.

Pierpoint will once again be the centerpiece of the gripping show, as viewers are plunged back into the cutthroat world of investment banking.

In season three, Pierpoint looks to the future and makes a big bet on ethical investing as the company becomes involved with Lumi, a green technology energy company.

The company is controlled by British aristocrat Lord Henry Muck (Kit Harington), who is described as the embodiment of “old money” privilege.

Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey) and Eric (Ken Leung) will be at the center of Lumi’s splashy IPO.

Meanwhile, Harper (Myha’la) is eager to return to the addictive thrill of finance since leaving Pierpoint and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg).

The returning cast of Industry includes Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel and Irfan Shamji.

They are joined by new cast members Kit, Sarah Goldberg as Petra Koenig, Miriam Petche as Sweetpea Golightly, Andrew Cavill as Lord Norton, Roger Barclay as Otto Mostyn, Fady Elsayed as Ali El Mansour and Fiona Button as Denise Oldroyd.

Since starring in eight series of Game Of Thrones, Kit appeared in the star-studded cast of Marvel’s Eternals as Black Knight, released in 2021.

Last year, he starred in the AppleTV+ series Extrapolations, an anthology series exploring the effects of climate change, which begins March 17.

In October 2022, HBO announced that they had renewed Industry for a third season, with star Myha’la Herrol – who plays Harper – saying: ‘Y’all did this… Thank you so much for watching our show and sending from us so much love.

Creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay previously teased one Disagreement saying they had “a really good idea for season three.”

“We had a rule that we had to burn our best plot ideas as quickly as possible,” Kay said of season two.

“Don’t hold anything back. Every episode should feel like a finale. We hate how slow most modern TV is.”
