Indiana Jones and the Great Circle debuting on Xbox, the adventure game is also coming to PlayStation 5. Bethesda confirmed at Gamescom 2024 that the game will release on December 9 for Xbox and PC, followed by a PlayStation 5 release in the spring.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle seems like a faithful homage to the classic films, while still maintaining its own identity as a game. While the Gamescom trailer features a lot of dialogue, there’s still a good look at the game’s hand-to-hand combat system and classic tools like Jones’ whip and revolver.
The Verge reported that Bethesda and Microsoft considered a PlayStation 5 port of the game in February. The Indiana Jones films inspired the Uncharted franchise, one of PlayStation’s most successful original intellectual properties. It seems fitting to have an Indiana Jones game coming to PlayStation as a replacement for fans eager for a new Uncharted adventure.
