They feature a 24-hour doorman, concierge services and a fitness centre with a gym and yoga studio.

There is also a playroom for children, a cinema, a library and several meeting rooms.

For those who tire of what’s on offer indoors, the chic shops and exclusive restaurants of Fifth Avenue are just steps away.

Although Trump spends much of his time at his Mar-a-Largo home in Florida, he was the one who designed Trump Tower, which was completed in 1983.

He used it as a platform to launch his presidential campaign in 2015.
