Incredible moment rich LA dad points a gun at masked intruders who tried to break into luxury home with wife, nanny and baby inside, sending them fleeing in a hail of bullets

This is the incredible moment a wealthy Los Angeles dad pulled a gun on two masked intruders who tried to break into his home.

The father, who has not yet been identified, was approached from behind by one of the masked robbers around 7:30 PM on Saturday as he walked to his home in the affluent Mid-City neighborhood.

The homeowner then grabbed his gun and started a gun battle with the intruders outside his home in the Democratic-run city.

“There was nothing in my house worth dying for. But I was willing to die for my family,” the man said KABC.

He added that his five-month-old baby, wife and nanny were all in the house at the time of the incident.

The crime rate in Democratic-led Los Angeles has skyrocketed as a result of the police movement. Lax law enforcement has led to an exodus of residents to Republican states like Texas and Florida.

CCTV footage shows the moment the man locks his car in the driveway and looks for his keys, with a drink in his other hand.

At that moment, the two intruders jump the moving fence surrounding the house and one of them runs after the homeowner.

The father, a middle-aged white man, quickly turns around and throws his hot tea at the suspect just before he pulls his gun from his pants and starts shooting at both intruders.

As shots fire, the two masked attackers scatter while one fires back at the homeowner.

The father then follows one suspect who jumps the side fence, while the other jumps the front fence and flees the scene.

The father and husband said that “out of nowhere” he felt someone behind him put a gun to his back.

After the attack, he and his family filed a police report with the LAPD’s Olympic Division.

DailyMail.com reached out to the LAPD for an update on the investigation.

The father reacted immediately as he threw his hot tea at the suspect (pictured) and pulled his gun from his pants before starting to shoot at the two intruders.

The two suspects then shot back at the man and the gunfight began. One jumped back over the front fence and the other hoped over the side fence

‘It’s only a matter of time before these people are caught. I think they should just choose a new career before they end up in prison,” the father told KABC.

The homeowner wasn’t sure if he hit one of the intruders, but he told them Fox11 that if anyone else tried to harm him and his family again, “they will die for trying to get into this house.”

According to Los Angeles crime statistics, there were 718 robberies in the city between October 1 and 28.

A total of 7,111 robberies took place in 2023, more than the number of robberies reported in 2022.

In September, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law that imposed an 11 percent tax on top of what federal governments had already passed on gun taxes.

The law made California the only state in the US with a separate tax on guns and ammunition.

The money raised from the increased tax rates will go toward security improvements at public schools across the state, especially those in gang-related areas.

Federal gun tax money has been spent on wildlife conservation and hunter education programs over the past hundred years.
