Incredible act of contrition by wailing man who drove car into family’s house after suffering a seizure behind the wheel
A man drove into a family’s home after suffering an epileptic seizure and begged them for forgiveness after he left the hospital.
The man, identified only as Rudy, showed up at Kristen Appell’s home in Spring Hill, Florida, on Monday to apologize after his black Lexus crashed into the house.
The entire interaction was captured on camera by a local news channel WFLA were on the scene when the man showed up.
In the clip, the man kneels down and tells Appell that doctors said he suffered a mild seizure, which caused him to crash into the house.
You hear him say: ‘I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to run to your house. I had a seizure.’

Rudy, who was wearing a hospital armband and bandages, according to the outlet, added that it came “out of nowhere” and that he hadn’t had a seizure in years.
Appell can be heard saying, “What happened? You shouldn’t have been driving, you shouldn’t have been driving.”
After the cameras stopped rolling, the newspaper said he said he would make things right for the family and that he lived around the corner.
Appell later told the newspaper: “I feel sorry for him, but again, if you have epileptic seizures you shouldn’t be on the road.
“Regardless, three years ago he was acquitted. He could have killed someone on the road, someone walking, it could have been anything.”
About the crash she said: ‘Suddenly I heard a big explosion. I came running outside, I had seen the car in the living room.’
Due to the damage, the structural integrity of the home will need to be assessed before the family can return, with the house cordoned off after the car was removed.
According to Appell, her husband and son had left for the school bus stop a few minutes earlier. If they hadn’t, they probably would have been hit by the car.
Because there is damage, the structural integrity of the home must be assessed before the family can return the house, with the house cordoned off after the car was removed.
It comes after a Tesla Cybertruck was caught on camera In June, he drove into a driveway at high speed and then crashed into a neighbor’s house.
The $109,000 vehicle had been in the new owner’s possession for only four hours when the vehicle’s brakes appeared to fail.
Surveillance footage shows the conspicuous vehicle speeding down the driveway, followed by the screeching of its tires as the vehicle turns a corner.
Then there is a huge bang as the vehicle comes to a stop and crashes straight into the side of the neighbor’s house.
