Love Island’s Afia Tonkmor missed the reunion show filming which took place on Thursday night – insisting she’s ‘over’ taking part on the show.

The lounge host, 25, instead was out partying with her friends in London and shared videos having fun on TikTok.

Afia entered the villa with Ekin-Su Culculoglu as the first two bombshells but while the Turkish actress, 27, was picked by Davide Sanclimenti in the recoupling, Afia failed to find a connection with anyone in the villa and was the first to be dumped from paradise.

Afia confirmed her absence on TikTok as she posted a video of her partying with her friends in a night club.

In the comments, a fan asked if she would be meeting up with her former co-stars at the reunion and she replied: ‘Nah.’

She added that she was ‘over it now’ after appearing on the show nearly seven weeks ago and only staying in the villa for a few days.

Afia hasn’t posted on Instagram for four weeks, with her last post seeing the star posing with fellow dumped Islander Ikenna.

Speaking to Heat after being dumped she told how she is now planning to move to live in Bali in Indonesia.

She said: ‘I don’t have many plans but I am going to move to Bali. I was always going to move to Bali and then this came about.

‘Now me and my friends think it’s the best time. I feel like the UK is just not my vibe at this present moment in time.’

Jacques O’Neill was the only other cast member of the 2022 series to avoid the reunion show on Thursday.

The series eight stars came together for the first time outside of the villa to film the annual reunion show, which will be shown on Sunday night on ITV2.

Yet Jacques, 23, opted to skip the filming amid backlash after his partner Paige Thorne moved on romantically with Adam Collard and amid fresh claims he ‘bullied’ fellow Islander Tasha Ghouri.

A source told The Sun: ‘Unfortunately Jacques has decided he’s just not ready to see Paige quite yet and especially not with Adam.

‘He’s made the decision to wait for a more suitable moment to talk to her again after everything he’s been through.’

MailOnline contacted Jacques’ representatives for comment at the time.

The former rugby player quit Love Island earlier this month when former contestant Adam, who has a reputation as a womaniser, was drafted in to the current series by ITV producers and quickly began flirting with Paige.

Hours before the reunion was due to be filmed he appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss life after the dating show, admitting he ‘just wanted my mum’ after his traumatic experience.

Host Kate Garraway started by asking Jacques: ‘How do you feel now being out because the episode you left was emotional to watch.’

Jacques responded: ‘When I first came out it was very different for me, I was scared of life and what was to come next for me.

‘When I was in the holding villa I just wanted my mum. We were getting death threats. I thought to myself I’m going to delete social media.’

The reality personality decided to remove himself following the arrival of Adam as he declared: ‘Love Island was the worst decision of my life.’

While Jacques received widespread sympathy following his interview, public mood quickly turned over the course of the day when he was found mocking fellow Islander Tasha in a private Instagram Story that was leaked online.

Jacques filmed himself watching Tasha’s speech to Andrew Le Page in the Love Island final at the Summer Ball.

Over the top he quoted Davide Sanclimenti’s now iconic words, saying: ‘You’re a liar, an actress, go the f**k out!’

After the video was leaked on Twitter, fans started to turn on Jacques, arguing that he had quit the villa over his mental health, but cared little about the mental health of others, especially that of women.

Many said they were feeling a lot less sympathetic to his plight, and claimed he was bullying Tasha.

One tweeted out: ‘So Jacques left the villa to protect his own mental health but is still bullying one of the girls from the outside. Does mental health not matter to girls no?’

Tasha’s dad then waded into the row, taking to Twitter to share a sly dig at Jacques.

Replying to the video clip, he wrote: ‘Some people grow and mature from their Island experience, some don’t. It is what it is.’
