I’m the manager of a ‘legal brothel’ – here’s what it’s really like and who is most likely to visit

The manager of a ‘legal brothel’ has revealed what a typical day in her role is like.

Catherine De Noire claims she is the manager of ‘one of the largest brothels in Europe’, believed to be located in the Netherlands.

Ms De Noire, who has an account on OnlyFans, took to her Instagram account to share what she does on a normal day, even when she is at her busiest.

She said the brothel experiences a rush of customers between noon and 1 p.m., when office workers come in during their lunch break.

After a dip it gets busy again between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, when married men come to visit so that they can still be home on time.

From 8 p.m. the brothel has ‘peak hours’ and usually receives a ‘few hundred’ customers.

Catherine said: ‘The club operates on a strict 24/7 schedule, with staff always on site to ensure smooth running.

‘During the day, positions such as HR, IT technicians and accountants are in shifts, and the customer base often has a different atmosphere.

‘In the evening the atmosphere is livelier, with more people, more activity and a lot going on. Then comes closing time, when the entire club is cleaned, replenished and ready to reopen in just four hours. And then the cycle starts again.’

In the US, prostitution is only legal in Nevada, and brothels operate in seven of the sixteen counties. However, outside of brothels, prostitution is illegal.

However, it is more widely legal in Europe, in countries such as Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. In Britain, prostitution is legal, but owning or running a brothel is illegal.

Many of Catherine’s followers were shocked and even more so at the clientele the brothels attract.

They wrote: ‘I’m sorry married men??? Do their wives know they are cheating??’;

‘I think it’s quite wild that people come to visit during their lunch break!’;

‘People act as if the brothel is the problem; that’s not it. If your partner cheats, he will too’;

‘The fact that they leave work and come here so they “don’t come home late” is so sad’;

‘I wish nothing but the worst for cheating on married men’;

“Going to a brothel on your lunch break is insane.”

Catherine says that her brothel opens at ten o’clock when the first women arrive for the day shift, although there are not many customers at this time.

It starts during the lunch break when office workers come in.

It gets busy again between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM when ‘men who finish work early often come by.’

Catherine explained, “These are married men who have to be home on time, so they can’t stay overnight.”

Most night shift workers arrive between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, when there is another lull in customers.

From 8 p.m. it is ‘peak time’ and the brothel usually receives ‘a few hundred customers’.

Most employees and customers usually leave around 5am. However, Catherine said this is also the time when “most alarms or incidents” occur.

At 6am the brothel closes and only customer service representatives are left, ready to start the cycle again at 10am.

She said married men often visit when they “lack intimacy” at home and “choose to pay a professional for the experience rather than find a mistress.” She also said they might become bored with their relationship and seek “novelty and excitement.”

She said the men may also feel too shy to share “extraordinary fantasies” with their partner and worry it could affect their relationship.

Catherine concluded: It is important to note that this is not about assigning blame to either partner or implying that it is the man’s fault. Sometimes life unfolds in a way that leads to these choices.”
