‘I’m innocent, fuck everyone!’ The distorted words of a murderous mother as she is imprisoned for the brutal murder of her son, 6

A murderous mother snarled ‘I’m innocent, fuck them all, they’re trash’ in court as she was jailed for life for killing her six-year-old son by shooting him nine times with a shotgun.

Julissa Thaler, 29, launched into the vile tirade when a Minneapolis judge sentenced her to life in prison without parole on Thursday for the May 2022 murder of her son Eli Hart.

The deformed assassin was also seen showing the finger after being sentenced for destroying Eli with the gun while he was sitting in the back of his car.

He bought the gun six days after his son’s father, Tory Hart, filed for custody.

Thaler was given the opportunity to speak after he was sentenced and shocked the courtroom into silence with a series of invectives that Judge Jay Quam called ‘inappropriate’.

The killer’s own sister, Nikita Kromberg, called her a “monster” while making a victim impact statement.

Eli was shot nine times with a shotgun while sitting in the back of his mother’s car in a booster seat. Minneapolis police and prosecutors called the murder one of the worst they had ever investigated.

In sentencing Thaler, Quam spoke of the horrors of a child’s death, saying, “However, it’s worse when you don’t lose your child to something like cancer or an accident.” It is when someone takes that child from the world.

‘What I can’t imagine, nobody can imagine, is when the person who takes a child from the world is the one who brought that child.’

Eli was sitting in a booster seat in the backseat of Thaler’s gray Chevy Impala when she shot him nine times to the body, reloading the gun between rounds.

The onslaught of violence left his remains severely mutilated, the star tribune reported, with the crime one of the worst local cops and prosecutors I have ever seen.

Thaler was later pulled over by police after a concerned witness reported seeing his badly damaged car near a dumpster.

The officers noticed that the rear window of his sedan was smashed and one of its wheels was totally destroyed.

They found Eli’s remains in the trunk, as well as the firearm used to kill him. Thaler was also found to have dumped some of his son’s body parts in a nearby dumpster.

Chilling footage taken from a security camera showed Thaler and Eli leaving her apartment the morning of her death.

The young man had recently lost his two front milk teeth.

Thaler was later photographed in the same outfit while chatting with police after being arrested following the murder of her son.

It took only two hours for jurors to convict her of first degree murder.

No motive was given for the murder, though the court heard how Thaler went and bought the gun less than a week after Eli’s father, Tory Hart, filed for custody.

He had lost custody of the young man twice before his murder after battling drink and drug addiction.

Thaler also suffered from depression, mood disorder, and borderline personality disorder.

After his arrest, it was discovered that he had searched online for terms including “How much blood can a six-year-old lose?”

Thaler was also found to have investigated “life insurance payout if child dies,” “how to commit a crime and blame the child,” and “how long am I allowed to saw down the barrel of a shotgun?”

Thursday’s court hearing also saw loved ones pay moving tributes to Eli.

Chilling surveillance footage showed Eli with his mother on the day of his murder, hours before she killed him with nine shots from a shotgun.

The court was also shown the research Thaler had done, including how much blood a six-year-old could lose, how much life insurance would pay out, and how much he was allowed to chop off the barrel of a shotgun.

A photo of the young man showing his toothless smile was shown during Thursday’s sentencing hearing.

The court was told that Eli was a sweet-natured boy who once rescued a panfish stranded on the shore of a lake, telling family members not to be afraid of bees “because they are nice and we need them.” ‘

Her stepmother, Josephine Josephson, said in her victim impact statement: “The pain is so deep you can’t breathe.”

‘You can’t explain the loss of your only child… after losing him in such a horrible way, you just can’t explain how it changes your life.’

“We have been sentenced to a lifetime of this pain, confusion, grief, sadness and trauma. A lifetime without Eli.

Speaking through tears, in court on Thursday, Josephine added: ‘Eli was an innocent and loving 6-year-old boy. He didn’t deserve this. Eli deserved to grow up and have a safe and happy life.’

Thaler’s sister, Nikita Kronberg, stepped in to raise Eli on one occasion after their mother lost custody.

She told the courtroom of her horror at the murder, says she blames herself for not saving Eli, and said she believed Thaler was bound for hell.

Kronberg said: ‘How could someone do something so bad to an amazing and loving child?’

No one will ever know why he did what he did to Eli. We can only assume it was to keep Tory and Eli away from each other.

‘But this only separated them temporarily.

‘Someday they will be together again in heaven. But we all know she’s never going to be with Eli again… she’s going to hell, where he belongs.

A GoFundMe page has been created to build a memorial playground in memory of Eli. For more information, click here.
