Owen Warner takes on Bucktucker Trial on Monday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as the Boiling Point challenge returns.

The Hollyoaks actor, 23, is the second contestant to join the trial in this series so far, after Chris Moyles was originally called up last week.

Chris, 48, only managed to get his hands on just one star during the ordeal, so the camp’s hopes are pinned on Owen returning with a better catch.

During the challenge, the broadcaster struggled with his environment, losing both his bag and the keys he used to unscrew the stars.

He had to use the last few minutes of the challenge to retrieve the items, but he was only able to save one of the two stars he collected.

The radio DJ arrived at the trial opening on Wednesday night with ‘tears in his eyes’ telling presenters Ant and Dec ‘I’m sh*****g myself’ and his anxiety took over, knocking him down to just one star left for camp, sparking a shocked reaction from viewers and the presenters of the ITV show.

Fail: Chris managed to score one star in his second Bushtucker Trial

After learning he would be taking the boiling point test, Chris spoke of his nerves and admitted, “No matter how much all the camp mates say, ‘just try your best, you’ll be fine, don’t worry about it’, underneath, they go, “Come back with at least more than yesterday!”

‘I just want to disappear. Three stars yesterday… I’d love to come back with 11, but I don’t know what it is, so I don’t know how brave I’ll be. I will do my best.’

Boy George told the Bush Telegraph, “Fear creates more fear. We all understand that, but at that moment you panic. I really want him to do it because I think it will be very good for his self-esteem.”

Shock: As Ant and Dec watched, Chris’ fear took over, leaving him with only one star left for the camp – after dropping the second star he collected in the boiler room

While speaking to hosts Ant and Dec, Ant remarked, “He’s got tears in his eyes.”

Chris said, ‘Yes! I’m hiding myself.’

Ant explained the trial rules: “This is boiling point. You need to enter the boiler room and take four keys. You are going to use those wrenches to release 11 stars that are located in the boiler room and the underground pipe network. Only stars in the star bag at the end of time count.’

He added, “This is a Bushtucker trial, so chances are you won’t be alone down there.”

Chris said, ‘If you say down there…. I should have done panto. Why are they enclosed spaces guys?’

Not happy: As Dec tried to advise him where to go, Chris yelled, “I got it, I know!”

Hoping to do better: The DJ, along with Boy George and Babatúndé, took just three of the eleven possible meals in Tuesday’s challenge

Difficult: Chris struggled during the nail-biting challenge

Dec encouraged, “Don’t forget to keep breathing and keep talking to us.”

Ant said, “We’re here.”

After grabbing the keys and making his way to a watery part of the pipe, Chris said to himself, “Don’t panic… I’m really sorry, I’m really sorry. God, I’m panicking, I won’t be able to breathe on the other side.’

As Dec tried to advise him where to go, Chris yelled, “I got it, I know!”

Ant laughed, “There is no cause for anger. You’re getting mad at the wrong people here.’

Chris admitted, “You’re right, I’m really sorry.”

Fans React: Viewers were all stunned by Chris’ performance and many pointed out how stomachs would rumble in camp – especially Owen’s

As he kept trying to go underwater to unscrew stars, he found he couldn’t keep himself under water long enough.

Chris said, “Good God, this is embarrassing.”

After collecting two stars, Chris put the keys in his star bag to go to another section. However, Chris revealed, “This is going to be the worst ordeal you’ve ever had… I’ve lost my keys!”

Dec said, “You have to go back and get them!”

Chris then revealed, “Everything has fallen out now.” A shocked Dec asked, “What, the stars?”

Lol: Even Chris’s friends and family couldn’t help but joke about his failed trial as they tweeted from the DJ’s official Twitter account

Fallen stars: As time was running out, Ant said, “You’ll have to go back and look for them, you don’t have long to go

Chris admitted, “Yes!”

When time was running out, Ant said, “You’ll have to go back and find them, you don’t have long… you’ve got about a minute and a half.”

When the horn sounded and Chris returned to Ant and Dec, Ant asked, “Chris, what happened?”

Chris said, ‘I’m going to be honest with you, it all went well. Couldn’t even get through the membrane, this is pathetic.’

Tough Trial: Chris said, “I’ll be honest with you, it all went well. Couldn’t even get through the membrane

Chris then confessed: “I lost a star…”

Dec said, “As we said, only the stars in the bag at the end of the Trial count…”

Chris counted out one star and said, “I can’t go back to camp.”

Chris added, “They’ll all say really nice things and they’ll all lie… I think I’ll go back and tell them I don’t have any.”

Dec laughed, “And then a nice surprise? That’s really straws.’

Returning to camp, Chris told them, “It’s really not good news and I’m really sorry. This is so inconvenient. I didn’t and I’m not kidding, I got one star. To make matters worse, I got two and it fell out of my bag.’
