I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! contestant Skye Wheatley has been praised by fans for the way she tackled an ‘insane’ challenge on the show.
The social media star, who rose to fame on Big Brother in 2014, was chosen to take part in the infamous ‘Viper Room’ challenge during Sunday night’s episode.
Skye collapsed when she arrived at the site and was ordered to lie in a dark box underground filled with snakes for twelve minutes while she answered a series of questions about her fellow campmates in an attempt to win twelve stars.
“This process is claustrophobic, confrontational and very frightening,” said presenter Robert Irwin (20).
After initially closing her eyes in the room to remain calm, Irwin encouraged the mother-of-two to “open her eyes” and enjoy the “incredible spectacle.”

“It’s actually pretty cool,” she admitted.
After completing the challenge, the 30-year-old confessed that she found the experience “amazing.”
“I felt like we were comfortable together in that moment and I was one with the snakes and I felt a really good energy,” she said.
