I’m a female Uber Eats driver and I disguise myself as a male when delivering – it makes me feel safer
An Uber Eats driver has revealed that she disguises herself as a man to feel safer during nighttime deliveries.
Tia Zakher, from Montreal, took over her TikTok @tiazakher to share a clip of her oversized ensemble.
The delivery driver admitted that she was abusing “male privilege” by disguising herself as a man at night while delivering food.
The short clip, which raised 270,000, was simply titled, “Male privilege.”
She wrote at the beginning of the video, “You’re afraid of only delivering orders at night, but you make more money at night, so you dress up like a man.”

While a fourth said, “Try a pair of pants that aren’t cuffed at the bottom, I think that will help sell it.”
Some expressed anger and sadness at her need to go to such lengths to feel safe, while many said they should do the same when walking at night.

It comes after shocking doorbell footage showed the moment another Uber Eats delivery driver appeared to urinate in the stairwell of an apartment complex in the Los Angeles area.
Many TikTok users confessed to being surprised by her efforts, while others offered suggestions on what she should wear
The incident happened Saturday night in the posh Beverly Hills neighborhood, northwest of downtown LA.
In the video, the unknown delivery boy drops a bag of food at a door before walking down the stairs and into the corner while looking around.
The man checks his surroundings before stopping in an off-camera area, while the supposed sound of urinating can be heard over the doorbell camera footage.
The video cuts off as the oblivious customer who ordered the food is seen taking their order and the delivery driver walks out of the corner and down the stairs.
