I’m an Aussie in the UK and I cannot believe Zara’s new ‘bogan’ clothing range: ‘It’s giving Bathurst 1000’

Australians were left speechless by Zara's latest clothing range, with many describing the line as 'bogan'.

Georgia was stunned when she visited Zara in the UK and saw Ford Mustang shirts with matching bottoms on the rack.

In Australia, such clothing is usually worn by older men with an interest in cars and motorsports, and not by young women.

In a video on TikTok, Georgia captured her reaction before setting the camera on the range.

'ZARA UK. What in the name of Bogan, drinking Xxxx Gold, Logan cul de sac living uncles is going on?' she captioned the clip.

Customers can get the Zara Ford Mustang Cropped T-shirt for £17.99 (€33.62 AUD) and the Color Block Jogger Trousers for €19.99 (€37.35 AUD).

The collection is not available in Australia.

It comes after other 'dad style' trends peaked in 2023, including Crocs and 'speed dealer' sunglasses.

Dad sneakers, pull-up socks and the T-shirt tuck-in also grew in popularity among Gen Z.

Georgia's short clip has since been viewed more than 113,000 times and has stunned thousands of Australians.

Many admitted that only their father or uncle wore Ford clothes.

“It makes Bathurst 1000,” one Australian commented, while another said: “Are you sure this isn't my dad's wardrobe?”

“Nooo Zara nooooo,” someone else wrote.

Another couldn't believe it, writing: “Definitely not.”

“When you realize Ford is an international brand,” laughed another.

“Dear God, this is what my 65-year-old uncle is wearing,” one person admitted.
