Aurora, who has lived in Britain for two years, started her video by saying: “So one of the biggest differences between the US and Britain is the cinema experience.”
In her TikTok, she filmed herself on a night out to see a new movie, showing the location where she wanted to watch the movie and saying, “This is a British cinema.”
“First of all, there is no butter on the popcorn and they have three flavors,” Aurora continued.
The content creator then held up a small popcorn container to show the size, before continuing: ‘The flavors are salty, sweet or mixed salty and sweet.
“There’s absolutely no butter.”
This time, commenting on the size, she held up a large container and said, “This is the biggest one they have and you can’t refill it at all.”
She captioned the video: “I miss American butter popcorn cinema. What kind of popcorn do you like?’
Aurora received more than 1.3 million views and 109,800 likes on her video, as well as very mixed comments.

Another said: ‘I miss buttered popcorn too.’
‘No butter?!? That’s wild lol,” said a third before Aurora replied: “Butter for the win.”
But on the other hand, some commenters were disgusted by the thought of butter on popcorn.
One person wrote: ‘Butter popcorn is, after jellied eel, the WORST tasty thing to ever exist.’
“Butter popcorn is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted,” another person added.
Another person added: ‘Are you telling me you refill a large butter popcorn in America? Heart attack center stage.”
