I’m a Twin Peaks bartender and I made more than $600 in one shift

A bartender has left the internet stunned after revealing that she was making more than $600 on a single shift — which works out to nearly $50 an hour.

Avery Linhart, who works at the Twin Peaks restaurant chain, documented her earnings on TikTok earlier this month with a clip that sparked fierce debate about how much restaurant workers are paid.

Avery, from Texas, explained at the beginning of the now-viral video, which has garnered nearly two million views to date, that her rent was due, but she was $300 short.

She hoped to earn enough to pay what she still owed during that shift, and after working 13 hours at the diner, she had brought home more than enough to cover the shortfall.
