Many people look to flight attendants for reassurance during a bumpy flight and most of the time they are just cool, calm and collected.

But apparently there are certain cabin crew behaviors to watch out for, which can be a telltale sign that your pilot is starting to worry about the plane.

According to travel expert Michael Gebicki, who writes for Things NZif you see the air stewards looking closely at the wing, there may be something going on.

Apparently pilots have a tendency to ask their crew to find things for them if they think there is a problem.

They said, “If the chief flight attendant comes down the aisle and looks anxiously out the windows, it may be in response to a request from the cockpit to check an engine.”

‘Spectacular, yes, especially at night, but not much of a problem unless it’s the only engine running, in which case it’s a big deal.

“Keep calm, statistically you’re much safer here than behind the wheel of a car.”

However, they emphasized that a defective engine would certainly not be a major concern, because aircraft have two engines and can fly with one.

It comes after a flight attendant revealed the items passengers should never bring on a plane, including one that could earn them a costly fine.

Lisa Kulpa, of Buffalo, New York, warned against bringing certain items on board a flight.

She reminded passengers not to bring anything with a strong scent on their flight, including nail polish or nail polish remover.

Speak against The points manshe explained, “Nail polish, nail polish remover—these products will stink up the whole plane and make some people sick.”

“Other smelly things that aren’t really wanted are extremely odorous foods. Even fast food sometimes stinks on an airplane.’

She also warned against carrying nail clippers, as many airlines don’t allow them because of the sharp nail file.

Lisa, who is a co-founder of the Basic Travel Couple blog, revealed that the biggest concern is people bringing their own alcohol on board.

She revealed it’s a safety issue because alcohol affects people differently at higher altitudes.

She said, “By serving alcohol to you during the flight, we can monitor how much you drink.”

Not only that, but public intoxication is a crime in many countries and being drunk on a flight could result in fines of over £1,000.

However, the flight attendant also gave advice on important items to bring on board.

She admitted that she always carried essential items such as car keys, medicines and electronics with her because you risk losing them if you put them in a carry-on bag.

She also advised putting on a sweater, as flights tend to get cold and the temperature is uncontrollable.

And for those people who like to take off their shoes during the flight to bring slippers, because they do not recommend going to the toilet barefoot.’
