A plus-size American body positivity advocate has attracted attention online after admitting in a candid video that she is “very fat” but also “very sexy.”
Mary Fran Donnelly, 30, split the 11 seconds clamp on TikTok, captioned “For all my HATERZ,” in which she speaks directly into the camera.
The high school teacher from Hawaii, who showed off her curvaceous figure in a bright pink sports bra and leggings, has racked up more than 67,000 likes.
Mary exudes confidence in the striking outfit, accentuated by orange cat-eye glasses, while her hair is tied into a messy bun.
“Just a reminder that I’m very fat and very sexy,” she begins. “And I 100% glorify obesity. And there’s nothing you can do about it,” Mary continues, waving her finger at the camera.

The 30-year-old, who goes by the handle @itsmaryfran, has more than 1.1 million followers on TikTok.
She is known for her posts on body positivity, often sharing videos about fashion, beauty and travel.
One of her most famous clips, which has already racked up 7.6 million views, highlights the obstacles plus-size people face when traveling.
Mary shared a pair of TikTok videos called “Traveling as a Fat Person,” showing how a hotel she stayed at was clearly not equipped to serve an overweight person.
While the struggles she faces are undoubtedly frustrating, May Fran spends the entire video laughing about the issues, and has earned millions of views.
“Welcome to Our Hotel’s Fatphobic with me, your host, your resident fata, Mary Fran,” she begins the first video, which has been viewed 1.5 million times.
“Come here, let’s take a look in the bathroom,” she continues, walking into the hotel bathroom as her sister can be heard laughing hysterically off camera.
‘As you can see, it looks normal. Would you like to pee or poop? Don’t worry, you can barely fit in there,” she says, gesturing towards the toilet.

She then demonstrates as she sits down on the toilet, showing how snug she is between the sink and the wall. “Maybe a shower?” she continues. “Oh, do you need a towel to dry off? Don’t worry, it won’t fit.’
She also demonstrates this by showing how the bath towel doesn’t wrap completely around her body – and barely covers her lengthwise either.
In a follow-up video, which has been viewed more than 5.1 million times, Mary Fran addresses the camera in a rainbow swimsuit.
“The theme of this episode is amenities!” she says. ‘Let’s talk about bath towels, because as we know, towels in hotels are worthless. So if you get a pool towel it will be a little bigger, but not by much.
“So you get to choose: is it going to cover the front or the back?” she asks, showing how the bath towel covers more of her body, but still doesn’t wrap around her.
‘Now you might want to sit on the balcony after swimming. Come with me,” she says, laughing as she walks to the room’s balcony. ‘Oh look, a nice table with a chair. Will it accommodate me? I’m not so sure yet,” she says, wincing as she sits in the small metal chair.
“Comfortable,” she says unconvincingly. “But unstable.” The videos have received enthusiastic support, especially from other TikTok users who can relate to the issues she describes.
