I’m a plastic surgeon- here are the enhancements I think Sabrina Carpenter has had

Pop’s new ‘it’ girl is facing growing rumors of plastic surgery after she showed off her improved appearance in her new music video.

Sabrina Carpenter, 25, was thrust into the spotlight for her ‘song of the summer’ Espresso.

Plastic surgeons now say they see subtle changes between her appearance now and when she first appeared in public in 2014.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Linkov has followed her face over the years and believes she first had surgery in 2019, when she was just 20 years old.

The plastic surgeon, who emphasizes that he has never seen Carpenter as a patient, estimates that she has spent more than $40,000 on various cosmetic procedures to enhance her beauty.

Ms. Carpenter has been in the spotlight since 2014, when she was just 14 years old, after appearing in the Disney series Girl Meets World.

But as she became more popular, rumors also circulated about surgeries she had undergone to alter her appearance.

Carpenter herself has not yet commented on the speculation about her alleged surgeries, and her spokespeople did not respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

Dr. Linkov, who lives in New York City, reviewed photos of the star from 2013 through 2024 before posting his assessment on YouTube. video.

He suggested that the star is a fan of lip fillers and has likely been getting small injections for years, with the aim of achieving a curved upper lip, which is rare in nature.

Fillers are gel-like substances injected under the skin to give the skin a fuller appearance. However, they break down over time.

Dr Linkov said in the clip: ‘In 2019, Sabrina, at 20, appears to be using makeup to emphasize certain aspects of her face.

‘But I also see some signs here of the possible introduction of lip fillers, both on the upper lip and the lower lip, to add some hydration and volume.

‘And in 2024, at age 25, when I look at Sabrina’s lips, it looks like her upper lip is more curved – and that’s probably from the continued use of fillers.

‘This was likely done with small, tasteful amounts of filler over the years to create this look.

“This isn’t something you just jump into, take one or two syringes of filler at a time and leave it at that. This is something that happens gradually, with a very calculated approach.”

NOSE COUPLET: These photos, from 2016 (left) and 2023 (right), suggest that Sabrina Carpenter may have had surgery on the tip of her nose to alter its appearance

Dr. Linkov estimated that she had spent $10,000 on lip fillers over five years, based on the industry average and the dosage required.

In 2021, at the age of 22, Dr. Linkov suggested that the singer may have started using cheek fillers, as he noticed more volume on the outside of her cheeks compared to photos from 2017, in which the apples of her cheeks appeared fuller.

London-based aesthetic plastic surgeon Dr Jonny Betteridge agreed.

In a TikTok video, he said: “She has a more heart-shaped face now, which is often achieved by using fillers in the cheekbones and chin.”

Despite their popularity, surgeons have previously said that using fillers at a young age carries several risks, including stretched skin that sags sooner than normal.

Patients who use fillers at a younger age may need other procedures, such as a facelift, sooner than others.

In addition to the possible procedures, Dr. Linkov also suggested that the star may have had a subtle procedure done to reduce the tip of her nose and make it appear thinner.

When he compared photos of her from 2015 and 2023, he noticed that the bridge — the upper, bony part of the nose — appeared to be the same size.

But the tip of the nose seemed much narrower, he said.

‘In 2023, at age 24, I see some signs of a possible nose tip correction [nose job],’ he said.

‘Many celebrities leave the bridge of their nose a little more rounded and refine the tip of their nose instead.

“That’s harder to see than when the entire nose is redone. These results are less obvious.”

In a tip rhinoplasty, surgeons change the shape of the tip of the nose, often by removing some cartilage and soft tissue.

But it does carry the risk of complications, such as possible asymmetry of the tip or removing too much tissue, making it look too pinched.

Dr. Linkov estimated that the nose job cost her about $20,000.

Although it is a popular procedure among the rich and famous as well as ordinary Americans, Dr. Linkov did not suggest that Carpenter got Botox.

Speculating about her appearance online, one viewer on X wrote: ‘No shade because I don’t know but did Sabrina Carpenter have surgery? Because I don’t know if it’s my face blindness but my brain can’t rationalize this as the same person [as in 2016].

A second person posted it on YouTube: ‘It’s crazy that we live in a world where young people who are already good looking naturally feel the need for plastic surgery and artificial enhancements.’

And a third said: ‘Whoever did her surgery is an expert because I thought it was makeup the whole time.’

However, others defend the star by stating that the changes in her face are simply the result of aging and makeup.
