Daycare worker Louisa Anne Stokes, 28, has revealed what parents always say. Posting on TikTok, she shared a clip of how she wishes she could respond.

He also said how he would like to answer them if given the chance.

Louisa revealed that she can tell when a child is secretly sick because parents often say, “I just wanted you to know that they’ve had an upset stomach all night, um, and had a really high temperature.”

‘It’s just teething, just teething, nothing more.’

To which the 28-year-old would love to respond with: ‘Your son’s four… aren’t teething. Please take them home so they don’t spread it.

Next, Louisa talked about when parents allow their children to bring their valuables to daycare.

Acting out a typical conversation, he said that parents say, ‘Hi, I’m just dropping you off.

‘They have their only stuffed animal that they will only sleep with at night… don’t lose it because if you lose it, they won’t be able to sleep anymore.’

Louisa wished she could reply, ‘Please stop bringing valuables to the nursery.

‘There are 40 children in this class. The bear is not coming home with you.

He then acted out how some parents send their children to daycare in their best and most expensive clothes.

She said, ‘So, um, I’m just leaving Delilah. She is wearing an all white Gucci.

‘She can’t dirty it because this equipment costs more than your salary.’

The nursery worker said she would love to answer: ‘We have paints, pens, crayons, dirt and sand. Take off your clothes.

Finally, most annoying of all is when it comes to potty training and parents don’t pack enough spare underwear.

Louisa played the mother and said, ‘So I thought we could potty train. I have put a pair of pants on her tray, there are no spare clothes.

Looking uncomfortable, Louisa would like to reply with: ‘There are no accidents. No accident on the first day of potty training her.’

Louisa’s hilariously honest video clearly resonated with many and racked up 57,400 views and over 5,000 likes.

Many other daycare workers loved Louisa’s clip and were quick to share their support and stories.

Another shared: ‘I had a boy with diarrhea and when we called mum she came over and said ok it’s ok he’s had diarrhea for 3 days now so it’s ok he can stay.’

A third agreed with Louisa, posting: ‘Yeah yeah yeah yeah! This is the truth x’

And a fourth explained: “We had a child who got sick and then said, ‘I was sick when I was having breakfast,’ he fully revealed to his parents.”

However, like many daycare workers who loved the clip, there were many parents on the defensive.

Someone tried to argue: ‘You still have to pay for your child’s day care, even if they are on sick leave’

Another explained: ‘Sorry to jump in but my son is four and 100% teething lol. His back molars are real and just came in.

A fourth added: “I only bring a stuffed animal for my baby because it smells like home and the nursery suggested it as long as it has a name.”
